Does it tho? Cuz a simple look to physic mechanics tells us that it would depend on the angle and weight variation as the lower bar setup also shortens the distance and lever arm making it easier on the joint (this time hip joint) at a given weight so it’s really more complex than just that

Cool accent. No this is not bad for your knees. It lengthens the glutes while a Cossack squat only lengthens the adductor magnus. If a Curtsey lunge hurts your knees, they are probably just weak.
