It is a double action gun but it's design lets you control the trigger in a single action manner. Glock is technicly a double action pistol btw the LEM is very Glock like in Lem mode. No safty or decocker.
I'm concerned with reliability like so many others. From what i've gathered it needs held dangerously close to that serrated slide😮 and off hand needs firm presseure backwards into trigger hand. I wonder if most malfunctions are based off of grip technique.
Hey man what’s your gas hole diameter measurement please? I think thats the reason why it functions well with/without the suppressor shooting subs. However there is no such thing as a “perfect” 300BO your rather overgassed or undergassed because subs/supers are very different. I’m assuming your overgassed and with supers it will cause more wear on parts. Id rather have it overgassed as well tho so at least it will work with subs/supers.
The XDs is all about concealability and still having the advantage you noted concerning the effectiveness of the .45acp cartridge. There is a similar model that holds more rounds. Great review btw. Thanks. New viewer/subscriber.
Getting my first CC pistol this week hopefully. Altho I spent my childhood shooting lots of everything w my firearm collector Judge father 😂. he'd be proud of my choice. I hope my shop has one in stock so I can feel it n try it. Bro u absolutely sold me. I'm also a lefty, so my options I was looking at, not a big pool. Sigp365, HK vp9, and this (don't want the standard Glock) my father despised Glocks. I'm almost 39! I can't believe it's taken me this long! Pops passed at 18yo. Ty! 🙏👍👊
Unfortunately I'm in NY, So I'm capped At 10. Is this EXACT size n configuration available for 10 rounds? Or do I have to make the handle smaller. I really wanna keep that nice big handle.
While looking great, and excellent ergonomics, mine has had multiple failure to feeds, been back to the factory not once, but twice. And just last week the recoil spring broke. I do not understand how a company like FN can do so many things wrong. Do not buy. This gun has many issues.
@@MenOfArmz I don’t think the comp/port in the front is big enough to negate as much recoil as it potentially could. Don’t get me wrong it does help with some recoil but not as much as I was expecting
depends what you mean by reliability and durability. if you mean in adverse conditions, this gun has holes in the slide and barrel so its inherently unreliable for a combat environment. for normal people on duty and in a concealed carry role, perfectly fine. every gun is reliable outside of adverse conditions... its expected in 2024.
@@maximusjoseppi5904 thanks for the reply. I really wish I could get this gun here, but I dont live in USA. I'm from NYC and certain guns just don't meet compliance here..
Jim Scoutten, R. Lee Ermey, Charlie Daniels, and now Paul Harrell. We are losing a lot of the greatest men who supported the 2A and provided world class firearms training and reviews. Thank God I lived during the time when all of these men were in their prime.
Awesome man! New to your channel! Good stuff! I love S&W pistols. I have the M&P shield and I love it! Nice concealable pistol and does the job! Keep up the good work buddy! Joe from NY.
The ending, "Thank you Paul. For the years of inspiration, entertainment, knowledge, wisdom, anecdotes, ya buts and caveats. You will be missed and remembered" is the perfect tribute to what Paul Harrell brought to all of us. Thank you.
