What is the reason for low and left then? Why can't anyone explain it? Oh, they'd rather complain. That's what our society has become, a bunch of complainers with no answers. Seriously, why is it low left? Mine was for the first 15, but I dialed it in. Still, I'd like to know why. "That being said" it's still a beautiful gun with a simple and precise trigger. With 117 rounds through mine as of yesterday, it's shooting about 2-3/4 inches low and 2 inches to the left at 7 yards, adopting a combat hold. I put 50 through it during my range session, with about half of these using a bench rest to make sure it wasn't me. Same, very consistent group. This is, for sure disappointing. I don't want to have to put a red dot on it to ensure accuracy. Also, the FDE finish on the slide is of poor quality. It's already down to metal in one small spot, with only two hybrid holster carry sessions.
@@joetori8356 ya.. not only do the sights not work, the guns accuracy is horrible in general. I can shoot 1 hole groups with a GX4 and 365.. it's just a flawed gun
I got the regular black reflex, it was a great shooter, HOWEVER, it did have several light primer strikes, or two per box, shot 114 grain blazer, also shot fiocchi, Winchester, s&b, even hollows, federal hst, and hornady critical defense and same, one failure to feed between 0-500 rounds about ( didn’t keep track but know it was a couple boxes), sent it back to FN, they came back with, faulty primer, and fixed the extractor ( didn’t even know that was an issue when I sent it in) just got back from the range ran 100 rounds trough the gun, and it’s been good since.
I just returned mine before I even shot it bc I was havin ftf issues just loading one in the chamber smh. Guys at the gun shop claimed I must have been riding the slide 🫠 but they allowed me to return it and I bought a fn 509
you would be about the only one with an accurate reflex then. FN's accuracy standards for the gun are 2.5" at 7 yards from a bagged rest.... its horrendously inaccurate.
@@maximusjoseppi5904you know hearing these things is why I haven’t bought it for my new edc yet but just as many people that I’ve seen talk about it shooting low and left I’ve seen people shoot perfect with it. Can’t help but wonder what the issue is at times
While looking great, and excellent ergonomics, mine has had multiple failure to feeds, been back to the factory not once, but twice. And just last week the recoil spring broke. I do not understand how a company like FN can do so many things wrong. Do not buy. This gun has many issues.
I was kind of interested in getting one of these... Mostly due to the unique mechanism. Already have an FNS-9C and a 509MRD... Is there really enough difference in size to warrant making the acquisition ? Seems quite a lot of folks are having similar accuracy and "break in" issues.
the sights suck and it was unreliable in the first 100 rounds to be honest... but, it is MUCH smaller than a 509c or similarly sized gun. for instance, i have a VP9SK (same as 509c) and it barely fits in my jeans pocket and bulges a lot from it when i do stuff it in there, this slides in like a wallet for 1 less round. when choosing a gun like this, its an instrument of necessity. i need a gun for my jeans/dress pant pocket when im going to a nice restaurant or similar and i cant wear my normal holster with my PDP.

@@Pler1978 I don't talk to a lot of guys who wear skinny jeans or spandex pants but other than that, this gun will fit perfectly in any normal jean or suit pocket. A normal bifold wallet and my cell phone are both the same width as this gun. I have a galaxy fold and have for 5 years. If I'm wearing cargo pants, I'm carrying my normal PDP, not a tiny pocket gun like the reflex, 365, hellcat, etc
pop on gunbroker friend, they are plentiful at the moment. After contact with FN, they recommend 250-300 round break-in period (kind of outrageous). so be prepared for a long first range session dumping mags and check your sights. i am probably just going to replace these sights.
@@maximusjoseppi5904 actually it would improve the accuracy 👌🏽 plastic tends to move around especially when heat is involved. I took the plastic guide rod out of my Glock and replaced it with a tungsten guide rod and the accuracy improved dramatically 💥 even the slide seems to be sturdier 💯
@@silverandblackentertainment I have seen zero personal evidence of this effecting any gun. If it actually made a difference, that's how the engineers would design it. Metal guide rods will add a little bit of weight to help some shooters steady a gun or control recoil but that's a shooter thing, not the gun. I could shoot your gun the same with both your guide rods in it back to back. The issues with this gun would not be effected by a guide rod. The sights were misaligned.

Mine is very accurate. Had a few failure to feeds with the first couple boxes of ammo, but disassembled and cleaned and lubricated well and have not had that since. Break-in periods Are REAL folks, don’t judge a fire arm too soon. I find this pistol very accurate, very tight on the rails and just needed a short well lubricated break-in period. Good job FN!
the problem is the inconsistency. it seems some of them might be shooting correctly but many of them dont. its not about if they can make 1/5 work, its about if they can make 5/5 work properly and they cant.
I want to love this gun so much but it has just sucked so much so far. I have put about 500 rounds through it and it now Doesn't feed from empty on either mag. If i work 1 into the chamber and put the mag in it will cycle flawlessly. If I slam the mag in rack it. gently insert mag and rack it. slam mag in with slide open AND gently insert with slide open it wont chamber a naked chamber. I'm gonna reach out to fn for warranty.
yes, i sold it haha. its just a poorly made gun unfortunately and FN doesnt care. their accuracy standards for the gun are a joke.. its 2.5" at 7 yards from a bag rest... the taurus gx4 can shoot .75" groups at 7 yards standing by my hand, the FN cant hold a group for anyone ive let shoot it.
@@maximusjoseppi5904 I was going to change the sights but I found a Masada slim that I’m going to try and trade tomorrow lol. I agree this FN is junk! I was so excited to buy one a few days ago. I’ve learned that I better do more research next time. I honestly bought this after watching Hickok 45 rave about this gun. Maybe there are a few good ones out there. Thank you for the reply!
@@dave_1958 people who FN gave the gun to rave about the gun... you cant trust any gun reviews where the person was given the gun to try it. its not a review, its a commercial marketing campaign. i was excited too.. until i shot it. FN just doesnt care about its consumer division.
