1:18 - SAME. HATE dolls. I'll never forget I was in this museum once and they had a whole room full of vintage dolls. I walked in, saw what was in there, IMMEDIATELY spun no my heel and walked tf out
YES finally someone else! 😂 My grandma used to have a guestroom, and it was FILLED with vintage dolls- the ones that roll their eyes when you move them! 😭 I demanded they be removed before I slept in it, I’ll never forget it. Even my Barbie wasn’t allowed to sit within eyecontact bc I’d be scared she’d start blinking or something. 😂 All dolls were stashed away under my bed LOL
This song gets me every time. From the big bang to the last line in the library (we were here). This is the story of evolution. Just makes me put things in perspective and realise how lucky we are. Unfortunately you missed something really special at the end (a very important reading from Richard Dawkins).
its from the stories perspective =) Also that "crazy instrument"is just a keyboard (3 Keyboards ) setup. it has those pipes just for props in theme of the tour
They very much stil exist hahahaaaa! Welcome back to the NW family. We have symphonic power metal cookies. Yes, that was Finnish. Unfortunately, Marco the bassist is not in the band anymore.
I've been a fan since 1998. I have never seen a more amazing live show. I really enjoy your lyrical interpretations and that you actually pay a lot of attention to them! They are very close to my own. I trust you'll love the journey you've begun. Welcome to the fold. <3 <3 <3 After a few videos, check out how she came to join the band in "Please Learn the Setlist in 48 Hours", a documentary of the band. Tuomas likes to decorate his keys for each tour. You'll see from different live shows. :) This is Wacken Open Air, so it's a festival. They could not build the stage out very much. The Tampere show was their headlining concert, so it was all built to their specifications. The more you dive into Tuomas's lyrics and music the more you'll learn how much their music varies. I recommend next: "Ghost Love Score" "Romanticide" "Ever Dream" "The Poet And the Pendulum" I'm sure many others will have recommendations, but you'll get a good mix from these songs. Also, Ghost Love Score is where people have claimed to experience their first Floorgasm. You'll see. ;)
It's simple actually, the gig in Tampere was all theirs in full, and this one is headlining the metal festival at Wacken, so the stage is not only for them. The flaming goat head is Wacken Open Air logo. And Tuomas' 'organ' is a decoration for his keyboards. Hail from Nightwish army!
Nightwish lyrics are normally highly intelligent and poetic. I love the way the words and word images are so craftily woven together. On the other hand the exact overall meaning of a song's lyrics, are usually, beyond my grasp. I am content to revel in each line and phrase.
I won't do a request. You are already swamped. But I will watch if it looks interesting. There are so many wonderful Symphonic Metal bands. Nightwish being the premiere example.
Enjoy watching other people's reaction to nightwish only just discovered them myself less than a year ago funny thing is I had heard of Floor years ago and figured she was just another pop singer with a weird name the 2013 wacken concert is amazing work of art welcome to the rabbit hole
Okay I changed my mind of what I said in my last message before I saw the whole video you definitely have to watch ghost love score from this concert it should always be the first night wish song to be reacted to
I'm curious you said you saw ghost love score but you didn't recognize the fake pipes around the keyboard I have a feeling you didn't watch ghost love score from this concert because it's so obvious it is widely believed to be the most reacted to song on RU-vid
About the "organ/pipes" it is of course decoration to hide his triple Korg keyboards. Nightwish is finnish Tuomas the keyboard Player once said it was a Tribute to the Finnish violist and composer Jan Sibelius and to his monument in the finnish capital Helsinki, 600+ decorated steel pipes . ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UbWb-zy85cc.html Knowing Tuomas, there is always a meaning behind everything.
"floorgasm" is an awful MONSTER. She is shouting, yelling, screamed, not singing, especially not Opera. And leader of the band "tuomas" (small letters) is even greater MONSTER as a man. Awful band completely.
I've now started replaying the game with a friend who's never seen it before, so we're playing segments and then watching your videos after and it's so fun!
@thebordemz MY HEART IS SO FULL IMAGINING THAT 😭❤️✨ And I bet y’all are slamming through it like champs while I’m out here crying about creaking sounds LOL
Aaahaha, we did make some good progress on the game last night. I powered through some portions of it because she got lost or didn't know what to do. 😂
Tuomas is just playing three bog standard midi linked Korg keyboards (Karma, Kronos and N364 with a fancy decorative stage prop surrounding them. That's all, apart from holding is wine bottles of course. Looks great but just for show.
Recommend ''Ever Dream'' next! And it's interesting that you mentioned how the Grimm stories were to scare kids from doing certain things, cos their song ''Ghost River'' kind of links into that, and I'd recommend it too. Symphonic Metal is the sub genre, ie. Metal that uses symphonic or orchestral elements.
I like your channel, ordered. If you do not mind, please pay attention in advance to the backgrounds of the bands your are reacting etc., so you might avoid funny situations during the reaction. Keep growing your channel and KEEP UP THE SPIRIT sister🤘🏻!
I’m not necessarily a Nightwish fan but I’m a Femke fan so I’m here and I’m here for the music reactions. I love these but I’m not sure who exactly to recommend. Tool is one of my favorite bands and they have a huge fan base that likes to show up for the reactions, so maybe check that out. Sober live from the 90s or maybe 46 and 2. Either way!..,I’m here for it 🫶
I concur. “Sober” is an awesome song and that 1993 performance is creepy af. The Tool fans though are a special kind of special… but so are Nightwish fans, so why not? One of my favourite bands are The Gathering, especially their 1995-2006 era. It’s like a mix of Tool, Pink Floyd and epic doom metal with a female singer (and an exceptional one, I must say).
You know, the comments from my regulars who came to watch gaming and watch my reactions as well mean SO much to me. Even if you don’t watch them, but pop in to support, seriously, I see and appreciate you. 🥰 Regarding band fans: I think they’re always a bit nutty, but in a good way. 😂🙌🏻 I’ve had many friends in the past just like it. Nutty, but the kindest people! I’ll definitely check it out and add it to my list!
@@fififemke Hey Femke, you’re very kind. I doubt you’ll see this reply in this vast and endless sea of comments.. but hey, you as a Dutchie are supposed to navigate the high seas pretty well, so there’s hope.😁 I’ll grab this opportunity to make another suggestion. As I said, The Gathering are an awesome band, and they are significant in the context of your Nightwish reactions. You see, they were the first metal band in the Netherlands to have a female lead singer, the one and only Anneke van Giersbergen who is rightfully called the godmother of Dutch female-fronted metal. It was before Nightwish, Within Temptation etc. Quite a few people, including Floor, name her as their main role model and the main source of inspiration. She’s a fantastic singer, very much in the same league as Floor, which is saying a lot. I particularly recommend two songs, “Travel” and “On Most Surfaces”, from their reunion concert at Doornroosje in 2014 (UNofficial video - because there’s no official one). It’s worth your time, I assure you. Don’t expect anything like Nightwish; their style is very different.
@@noneofyerbeeswax8194 I very coincidentally saw this comment pop in just as I opened my phone. 🤗 Thank you for your sweet words, you’re too kind! I never heard of The Gathering, I’ll write it down in my list of suggestions. If Floor sees their lead singer as an inspiration, I’m sure they’re worth checking out! Thank you kindly for your suggestion and the band lore you provided along with it! 🙌🏻❤️
