Researching: you find new technologies in missions, talks, hidden everywhere. Like biotic damage. These aren't working until you don't use your research terminal. Now you have 1 biotic damage technology. You have to find resources to upgrade these new biotics, techs, weapon/armor/ship upgrades. You can read from the terminal how many acquired technologies you have (like 1/5), what can you upgrade and what will you be able to upgrade if you find more of the same.

Tip for future Collector fights, if you give yourself Kasumi's Flash Bang power you can use those on the Harbinger Collector enemies (the ones that look like they are on fire). It stuns them so they forget to fire on you.... heehee. Scion's use shockwave so you need to move if they fire off one of those as it travels through objects. There is no hiding from them.

You can get that strong move the scions use, it's called shockwave and I love it in this game. It can make enemies ragdoll, so even if it doesn't kill them they go flying if they're on low health. 😂 It's my fave in this game, it's so fun to use. Also, please ask your squad members about ship upgrades! Also also, you listing small tasks like feeding the fish and spitting on Kaidan's picture had me laughing. 😂 Also also also, the upgrades that were greyed out are just ones you haven't picked up yet. You can find them during missions and then spend resources to get them.

You can aim warp (and other powers) from hip in large distance. It has a straight line and you hope the best. If your enemy is in the range of the power they will be framed by red and warp will auto targeting. In this case enemies have only chance against your warp if they are out of direct line of effect. Behind cover. You so can avoid enemy powers and rockets if you run behind cover.

The reunion with Kaidan/Ashley is one of the emotional scenes in the series especially if you romance one of them. Could understand their side through. Shepard's death had hit them hard because they fell in love with Shepard and they spent two years mourning Shepard not knowing that he/she had spent two years in a coma and getting patched up by Cerberus, a well-known terrorist organization and they are hardcore Alliance soldiers. I can understand that the reason Shepard haven't tried to contact Kaidan/Ashley is because he/she must have figured that they have moved on after two years and must have found someone else. As for the picture on the desk, I believe that T.I.M may have the picture place there to either motivate Shepard to complete the mission or could be his way of warning Shepard not to cross him.

Never feel bad about prioritising your chosen family, however (whether they are furry or not.) I feel your frustration with Potato Boy, but I can totally see why he hates and despises Cerberus. (Remember the colonies overrun by husks or Thorian creepers? Remember Admiral Kahoku's men being lured into trap only to be eaten by a Thresher Maw? Remember how Admiral Kahoku died?) I cannot blame Kaiden for being suspicious of their motives. TIM is not exactly the most honest and straightforward guy about anything. Even though he is being great about showing you the most media friendly version of Cerberus, don't forget that they were and are primarily a terrorist organisation. Remember that most Cerberus people you have met on the new Normandy are recent recruits from the Alliance. If you told your partner that you were a volunteer for ISIS, surely he would have questions? I remember being a teenager in the early/mid '90s, in the height of the tragic meltdown of the former Yugoslavia when ill prepared Dutch troops were ordered to stand aside from "safe havens" like Srebrenicia and let advancing Serbs massacre civilians. I remember the Dutch government resigning en masse a few years later. It's only a decade and a half since memorial to murdered children was unveiled, inscribed with hundreds of names of victims. I remember my Dad telling me once about how he had manned a machine gun in sand dunes above a beach on Cyprus in the 70s, protecting the families of diplomats. Putting yourself in danger for the greater good of people you don't know is heroic. Cerberus might be many things, but heroic is not one of them.

I watched this on Welonz playthrough, she was like "Yeah, i guess that's a normal reaction our people would have on Cerberus", "It's actually surprising that so many of our friends didn't move on with their life at all in 2 years and still willing to join me.", "Damn, even i am not sure that i'm me."

Before you commit to a relationship, make sure you explore ALL options. This game gives you more options than the last. It is good to do Kasumi's mission early, because you get the best submachine gun in the game and you can finally rid yourself of the useless shuriken.

"Give me ammo! I need ammo! " - finds a dead collector, scans it for upgrade research, ignores ammo lying right next to it.... Oooh, shiny! (Not realising she's full, apart from the heavy, but that's a whole other thing).

The problem with fighting the Praetorian with Kaumi in your party is that it does it's ground slam every time it gets close to an enemy and then regenerates it's barrier before lifting off again. Combine that with Kasumi having Shadow strike as one of her main attack powers, and it realllllly hurts her effectiveness (she doesn't use it from what I've seen of that fight unless you deliberately order it). It doesn't help that her weapons (SMG and pistol) are primarily short-ranged. Fortunately there's only a few missions where you go up against Collectors and you get a warning of which they are. And yes, Kaidan is being a proper **** here. He's doing a good impression of an abusive boyfriend at this point; we've had sex, now everything you do should revolve around me.
