For me...the Utah Jazz with Stockton and Malone were the two best players/best teams to never win. They made the playoffs every single year they were together in Utah, from 1985-2003. I think if Dantley would have stayed in Utah and been that third great player, Utah would have snuck in a championship in the late 80s/early 90s once Stockton and Malone had a couple years under their belts in the league. Unfortunately, they werent able to make Dantley's contract work and traded him off with only one single season together with Stockton and Malone. Imagine a Jazz team of Stockton, Malone, and Dantley for 10 years.
If malone could hit a free throw in the waining moment jazz beat the bulls. Kenny Smith you wouldn't of started on that jazz team lol you were in the car with hakeem
oh, and 28:30, when it all breaks down is my favorite part of all the PCs! Steve Smith going "woo-woo" as he's riding the SeaDoo. CW says "get control Earnie!" Earnie says, no I like this.. I've watched it 50x and still laugh until I'm horse! bring this show back, puhhhlease!!!
C. Webb and GA are arguing over the Pacers team in the 2000s, but they forget to the true Pacers in the 2000's with Reggie, Jermaine O'Neal, Artest, Stephen Jackson and Jamaal Tinsley...... If it wasn't for the brawl, they would've had a legit shot of winning it all in 05.....
Chris Webber saying the Pacers wasn't that close is a lie.. His Kings team made 1 WCF the Pacers in the 90s made 4 ECF 94, 95, 98, 99 and finals in 2000 so I don't know why Webber is hating when the Pacers had a much better run than the kings who only had one good year
I just wish I was 1/100th as cool as Steve Smith or Chris Webber.. man, I love those guys.. so smart, well spoken, funny, witty, fun.. this whole panel is wonderful, what am I saying..
Really interesting actually to see them having different ideas about that time. Watching Last Dance and hearing MJ talk about how the Indiana Pacers was the hardest team to beat for them outside Detroit, Kenny and the Spurs, Greg Anthony about the Blazers, Jazz, Magic, Sonics, etc.
NBA screwed the 02 kings. The lakers averaged 24 FT’s a game through 5 games and then shot 27 FT’s in the 4th quarter of game 6 once they were down double digits. As a kings fan as a child I never got over that and Webber’s injury in 03
Listening/watching these. One I miss this show and they need to bring it back. Second McHale is like the godfather. Everyone talking over each other constantly. Then Kevin starts talking and they all stop and start listening
Definitely loved watching the Kings play in the 2000s. The matchups against them and my 2000s Mavs were definitely some of the best games I ever watched.
Then you need to go back and watch the '86 Celtics against almost anybody, but especially the Lakers. Todays games are boring as hell compared to that era.
This is why he got smoked 3 times because he is not a dog he is not a natural born fighter. When you fight lower level opps and fighters past their primes you get a chump like this
As usual, Kenny "The Jet" Smith's mouth was in full throttle, stealing airtime to other panelists (Steve Smith and Dennis Scott, especially) and so losing balance for all guests to talk equally. He has that knack to butt in which is downright unethical and rude even the setting is just having fun. Kudos to EJ for uttering "Coming up on my show...". Unfortunately, Kenny kept disrupting. And I really doubt Kenny's storytelling that Hakeem Olajuwon gonna get David Robinson's MVP trophy and the latter's speech not mentioning Hakeem among the MVPs that came before him. Besides having a Dunning-Kruger syndrome, Kenny has the knack to embellish so to spice up statements. Kenny can be so full and fool of himself as if he's responsible leading Houston to two (2) championships, with Hakeem rode his coattails.
Idk if people realize just how close to death Conor was. Khabib was going for the snap, he was going for the final turn, then herb stepped in and dragged him off. You Conor fanboys best learn now. Stop talking shit and thinking you’re god💀💀
