Juwan Howard was the key to getting the Fab 5 to Michigan! Juwan and Jalen were the leaders of those Michigan teams and the 2 players that were good at half court offense. Juwan and Rose weren’t as athletic as the other Fab 5 members. They were the more cerebral players! Juwan was a technician in the post and J Rose was a 6’8 SF that made the switch to PG after realized someone had to for all 5 to get on the court together. Rose made the change pretty fast and became a good college PG. it showed off his basketball IQ that he understood the responsibilities of each player on the court, with his size 6’8” and perimeter skill set Jalen showed he could play 1-3 positions in the NBA !Chris Webber was the man child that had a complete game and was almost unstoppable if he got the 🏀 in the paint where he could play with his back to the basket, he had good handles for a 6’10” PF and he was usually the best athlete in the building!! When Webber was posted up he always spotted the guy cutting to the rim to throw a lob for a dunk or sneak a bounce pass through someone’s legs for a easy bucket! For a guy that probably 6’10” & weighed 250 lbs.+ Webber ran the floor like a race horse. He would get the rebound, dribble right past everyone and go coast to coast no problem! Webber was 1 of the best fast break players I ever seen! A elite athlete that was stronger than 99% of the NBA he was real crafty with his passing, or to getting a shot off when he had a difficult angle to the hoop or defender hanging on him! Definitely could of been NBA ROTY straight out of High School but he stayed at Michigan till his Sophomore NCAA Tournament was over! Webber was the 1st overall pick in the NBA Draft!!! Golden State via Orlando originally picked him with the 1st pick then traded C Webb for the 3rd pick Penny Hardaway. Rose and Howard stayed for their Junior years and lead Michigan to a Elite 8 after losing in the Championship game the prior 2 seasons! Ray Jackson and Jimmy King were the other 2 players of the Fab 5.Jackson was a grinder played with hustle did the dirty work! Jimmy King took a backseat role in the Fab 5 but he had the gifts to be the 1st option for a top 10 University!! Jimmy King should of been a solid NBA rotation guy for 10 + years maybe a starter at shooting guard! He could hit the 3 pointer, he was someone that could get to the rim and put some style at finishing! Great at running fast breaks the Fab 5 took advantage of how quick and efficient throwing a lob pass was! King could jump through the roof, he didn’t have a problem initiating the break or finishing it!! For some reason he wasn’t picked up by any teams after he was let go by the team that drafted him!

We put coaches into opportunities that have no experience in the actual game as in football and basketball that get payed 100 million for barely making the playoffs but juwan Howard the fab 5 legend Nd we pretend like it's new? Juwan is from Southside chicago he was ment for this job, glad he got the opportunity nigga I swear to God....

Let's hope Beilein doesn't retire with a failed stint at Cleveland... I understand it's less work being a professional basketball coach and that was appealing to Beilein along with his dream of coaching in the NBA... If I was Juwan and Michigan's AD.. I offer Beilein an assistant coaching or management position with the Michigan Basketball program.. I doubt he would want take another coaching job or retire from Cleveland on a disappointing note. I think it could be a huge opportunity for Michigan as he would be huge mentor to Juwan if he worked with him a couple years before he officially retires.

Ryan Pearsall I disagree this is Juwan Howard’s team now, doesn’t mean no disrespect to coach Beilein but he made his decision to leave, maybe he will find a job at another college.

@@sonyabennett2730 Of course Juwan would have complete control. Just saying.. let's pray coach B doesn't take a Big 10 coaching position ;-}
