Very interesting! Four Square did very well this year at the IWSC, congratulations Richard! So did we (pushed down to 14th place from last year's perfect score) , and we are in Kingman, AZ. So not all top-tier is made in the Caribbean! :) Shop local, y'all!
Great video Brandon! You’re absolutely right that consumer knowledge of additives are making its way to categories other than tequila. Both as someone in the industry and a consumer, I just like to know what’s in the bottle I’m selling or consuming.
Whiskey is a relationship business, so is finding your favorite cocktail! Have a conversation, build the relationship with your bartender and open up a whole new world!
Where can you find it? If New Riff distills it, I’m in. Good on you for disclosing your distiller. Kentucky will get surpassed for the best bourbon if they don’t stop playing games with availability, in my opinion. I can’t tell you what state will do it but, it’s coming.
I’m new to rum, picked up a 2010 and touchstone bottle. I get a strong plastic type of smell and taste. Any recommendations on how to sip this?? I’m not getting any of the fruits and sweet notes. I need help. Thanks😢
The cocchi is what I picked up when getting a sweet vermouth for negronis. I have no idea whether that was the right kind to get or not. Even though you covered Manhattans in this video, I appreciate your video!
Fantastic. I was going to make my first real video around this drink. Cocchi storico Vermouth di Torino is my pick for bourbon low rye high proofs. Never disappoints and mixes well with unusual bitters, like black walnut or a small dash of cardamom.
no no no its a hint of hazelnut spice chill with a hint of mahogany and a splash of oakwood sitting in forest aged 20 years chewed on and spit out by bears but also hits your nose with notes of grass and dirt and sweet apple and i’m gonna use big words to say this wine tastes good
Any timeframe for how long this will be around? I believe I heard something where Richard said it’s was a limited one time only release. Trying to figure out if i need to stock up now or if I have some time.
Except when directly comparing products. If you're tasting 2 together for comparison at the same proof/abv and one is considerably more "bitey" than the other it's definitely worth noting.
