You have 47.6 k followers as of this video 1 year ago who love you and follow your way of life and farming. Try to remember that when the critics abuse you and hurt your feelings. You are awesome and I appreciate your opinions on animals. Keep Smiling.
You go chica! I have been following ur stuff for awhile,! Like since the old place… and when u first got ringo, I was interested if u had any advice with outdoor tractors… I live in Alaska we have limited time to allow our house or our pet rabbits to get at the green grasses… and otherwise…
So for a small operation; you have individual hutches for the does and the buck (2 does 1 buck), and a grow out hutch for the babies? Cycling the litters in and out of the hutch?
very interesting video! Does it happen that you keep the skins and work them to creat stuff with? blankets or outwears? if yes i would love a video with explanations! thanks!
Just found your site. Love it! I am a 4H Rabbit project leader, and I'm always looking for sites that explain how to... in a way that young kids can understand. Not only are your recommendations spot on, but they are great for first-time breeding/show rabbits. I look forward to reviewing other videos from you. I'm in California, so my weather is a little different, but we adapt. Ty
The reason GBW is inferior is because the process is backwards. You galvanize then hit the joints with an arc which welds but burns off the galvanize. Cheaper that way I suppose but not as durable. Great video and you logic is sound. Heaviest wire you can afford. Bass Equipment that I’ve used for 40+ years has 12ga wire and also coated. Great company.
Looking for some guidance. I live in Michigan and like your design, my question is what about winter and the open bottom? Do the rabbits not need an area that is enclosed to stay warm?
I can’t find the pieces of wood laid out anywhere for the stacker. It too me 8 pieces of 2x2x8. Will you show how to cut the wood so I can do a beater job not wasting and getting it down to 6 2x2x8’s. Thank you! -Ms Skeeter
thank you for your reply. Yes. I was looking at the blog for supplies. It said 6 - 2x2x8 I made the cuts but I can’t figure out how to cut the six to get all the cuts needed. It took me 8 - 2x2x8s Thank you, -Ms Skeeter
OMG I AM IN SHIOCKI HAVE WATCHED YOU A FEW TIMES ON YOUR HUTCH BUILDS... I AM SHOCKED YOU ACTUALLY BUTCHER THE RABBITS YOUR SELF THAT YOU KEEP AWW :( I AM SAD BY THIS BUT ... I GET ITS YOUR BUSINESS BUT IAM SAD TO SEE THIS :(
Thankyou for demonstrating the hardest part of keeping rabbits for meat. I'm just wondering if the rabbits in line t9 be killed get unsettled with being so close to the processing of other rabbits. It has been my experience that the smell of blood is distressing for animals, and wondering of your experience. I mainly keep rabbits for dog food but do use some for myself. Thanks again for the video
