I am SO sorry to hear about Bobcat, I’m sure that wasent easy. BUT, you are a such an ethical breeder, that I hope you know, you did that right thing. ♥️❤️
I hope you are feeling better since your last video. I suffer from anxiety as well and I felt bad that you were feeling so down. Please take care of yourself and God bless you.
I'm sorry you had to cull Bobcat. We grow rabbits as well. I understand it was the right decision for her health. I know how hard it can be for us humans, too. You're a strong woman and I appreciate you being willing to share your journey with us. Peace and love to you. ❤
Love your videos! So, honest and the word processed is so smart. I wish more people would watch you to understand where they get their food. Also, showing emotion for sick animals and your empathy is unmatched.
Hello... just was introduced to your channel today and subscribed. Watched your rabbit butchering video and was very impressed... thank you. Looking forward to catching up on your back videos too. Blessings on your day Kiddo! 🌻🐛Carolyn in Ohio 🌿
Aww, thanks so much for posting even unedited. I’m trying to start my own channel and it’s nice to see others just post videos, those are becoming more popular anyway. God bless you and your homestead.
You did the right thing by Bobcat. Sad, but the best move. QUESTION: how old is too old to harvest a rabbit for meat? Is the meat too tough? My “babies” are now 11 months old. I’ve been too ill for the past 9 months (cancer treatment). Feeling guilty….yes. Is that rabbit meat just suitable as dog food now?
There is no “too old” - one of the rabbits I butchered Tuesday was well over a year old. Older rabbits, specifically bucks in my opinion, can be harder to skin when they get older, and the meat tends to be tougher. Older rabbits either get fed to my dogs, or we use the instant pot (or slow cooker) for them to make any recipe that calls for shredded chicken. I hope this helps. And I hope you’re doing better now! 🧡
These quick update videos are perfectly fine, especially during busy times. I saw the news about Bobcat on Facebook. Hopefully Fennec will carry some good coat genes. Wishing you a good week
Good luck with kidding season, we start the 15th through the 24th. Have four doe's (rabbits) due this month also on the 12th 17th 20th 21st. Thank you for sharing. Till next time God Bless.
Enjoy your much needed break! Quick question, I know in one of your videos you talked about the boots you enjoy, I don't remember which video that was. What was the name of the brand?
