Personally, I didn't like Pirot at all.....after a short walk, I got on the next available bus back to Nis. Love Nis and am moving there to be with my Mrs, from Australia. In Pirot, I felt everyone was looking at me, and didn't feel safe. Looked so poor, the ppl, etc......yuk. Jagodina is nice as it has a zoo, water theme park, and wax works. Though I have heard the city is going broke, financially. Love the main street of Leskovac....so wide, appealing, and open. The ppl are mega-friendly too. All I remember re Vranje is a restaurant I went to. Apparently, that is the city where they make beds with aloe vera in its mattresses which is something I want to buy once I've moved

For example, a brand new 61 square-meter apartment can be bought in Saranda for just 35,000 euros (look at it here: www.indomio.al/en/10871260), which is rather cheap for an average western European budget, but expensive for some other people.

Regarding your question, buying a 45,000 euro apartment will definitely help you in the process of obtaining a Temporary Residence Card in Albania, as you would prove the demanded accommodation and fund requirements. It must be taken into account that applicants must evidence proof of sufficient funds for their stay in Albania; proof of an annual pension income of up to ALL 1,200,000; proof of a bank account in Albania; proof of accommodation in Albania; a health insurance policy valid for at least one year; and a police clearance certificate.

Hi. Thanks for writing to us. If that profession is on Lithuania's list of short supply, then you will have high chances of being hired. Applicants can get their work permit from their employer who offers them a job. Only the Lithuanian employer of the applicant can apply at the local Employment Service office for the seasonal work permit. After granted the work permit the employer will sign an employment contract for the employee.
