That's true and it happens in many countries.

@@Europeanhub especially in Portugal..and we are facing a new wave emigration amoung of Young people because they simply cant afford to buy or rent a house. Non residents should not be allowed to buy houses here, like it happen in some other countries

Southern European real estate policies, generally do not seem to be very interested in helping locals find affordable housing, but rather favor foreign speculation.

@@Europeanhub indeed, local goverment and RE international speculators are not interested with the damage they are causing to the country...
