Just take the nut out of the panhard at the axle. It is super easy and the bar pops right off. Anyways, I put their 1.5" front spacers on mine and the passenger axle is slinging grease everywhere now and the axle is binding. Maybe I won't be lifting the front of mine after all. Be easier to just remove them and go back to stock height in the front.

That is are mint looking R50 Pathfinder, I own one myself I bought it new 24 years ago and it's still going strong that VG33E engine is super reliable.
Neither...I disconnected the sway bar at the end links to install the springs in the rear, and to take out the struts in the front. But I didn't have to completely remove them nor buy new ones.
Nice looking 98 ! my favorite Pathfinders the 96 to 99 ? models I think ! the ones with this beautiful front grill , 2000 and up the grill change was not a better idea I don't like it .
I always wanted my first car to be a 4x4 and I was finally able to buy a 1998 Pathfinder. But the problem is that I live in Mexico and I have not been able to find parts to modify it.
yes there is, but I'm unsure of the number. Its usually a big number for those sort of bolts. something like 100 - 120 ft lbs. I just tightened them down really well with a breaker bar.
Great, thank you. Also i was breaking my head whether how should i put the spacer in. With the lip of spacer up? Or should i put it with lip down. I would be really afraid if spring came off.
Great guide video, hope to do similar on my '99 E50 Elgrand(JDM MPV relative to Pathfinder)will probably fabricate steel spacers cos I can and enjoy the challenge of making stuff😉😉what were the adjustment bolts you talked about at start?🤔
Its called a camber bolt. Its just a bolt that replaces the factory strut-to-spindle bolt. It has a lobe on it and when you turn the bolt it moves the strut in order to change the camber.
Installed 2.5 front 2 rear and after I got it "aligned" there was a lot of clunking sounds coming from the front? Any ideas anyone? Also it wasn't really aligned very good the wheels are kinda butterfly
@@rhino5ohh I ve been trying to scan the car but when I use the obd2 and scan it it has no connection to any unit. When I use the obd1, my scan tool doesnt even power up. I'm suspecting the ecu might be the problem. What do you think?
Great video thanks for uploading. I just picked up a 2004 and I'm looking to put a 2 1/2" front and a 2" on the rear. I ordered my spacers from Supreme Suspensions I used them before and they offer a real nice quality product. However I see that sfcreations offers a 3" lift for a little more. I might order the 3" and put it on just to see how it looks and send back the others. Has anybody else used the three inch lift?
No I haven’t but I just ordered the 2.5 inch lift kit off Amazon. Pretty new to this so I’m not sure if running the stock 245 65 r17 AT tires with it is going to affect the car negatively or not. Considering getting some 31 inch tires(265 70 r17 i think) but I’m not sure if that’ll rub or not
