Currently on day 2 and wow did I underestimate this….. I got splints and how shit am I miserable. My whole face seems swollen and my hurts. Even my jaw hurts bad.
Waking up this morning sucked as it was uncomfortable to have dried blood in my nose. Could barely sleep last night. 6:30 am to 10:30 am. Today has been l pretty smooth though. No real pain.
Thank you for publishing this video. I’m recovering from having balloon sinuplasty with turbinate reduction two days ago and I cannot breathe out of my nose.
Hello Darren you the Man I finished watching your video on Turbinates surgery Bro im so nervous but your journey of the surgery is Classic 💯💯 how you feeling now and can you make more videos about how you feeling now after the surgery thanks Bro 👍🏾👍🏾💯❤️
I’ll work on another videos to answer some of the more common questions people seem to have asked and also some of the reposed I see from people also that pretty much was the same experience as mine
Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm on day 5 after the surgery. My doctor put splints in my nose, hopefully getting them out tomorrow morning... I haven't really had any pain with the exception of my teeth up front. And you are spot on, so far the only discomfort is from the stuffiness, not being able to breathe really sucks.... I appreciate your commentary and look forward to getting my breathing back on!
I had mine yesterday. Septo with turbinate reduction. Splints in. I had terrible snoring and woke up 3-10 times a night with dry mouth before and for years. Waking up with headaches. I wanted this done. Teeth throbbing is awful and doctor only gave me a few norcos. I was in so much pain last night I was crying. I called and he sent OxyContin in. It’s really starting to help as I just got it and took an hour ago. Take all the meds you need. The first 2-4 or 5 days. Tylenol didn’t do anything. I felt the air last night but today blood is clotting so hard to breathe. Still bleeding but more oozing today. Been using the bacitracin and taking antibiotics today. Nose and teeth ache and throb. I know that is from nerve bruising hopefully it goes away fast.
Hi Darren, I recently watched your septoplasty journey videos and found them incredibly helpful! I'm considering the same procedure and would love to know the name of your doctor and the hospital where you had your surgery. Thanks so much!
@@TheNealsNextDoor Hello Thanks so much for recommending Dr. Free at ENT of South Georgia. That’s really helpful! I also spoke to a friend who recommended a couple of doctors at other branches of ENT of Georgia. If you were in my position, would you still go with Dr. Free, or would you consider one of the other doctors? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks again for your help!
I would go with him again. I actually have another appointment with him for something else I want him to check out. Honestly he was really easy to talk to and that’s what I liked about him
I'd like to know how dealing with bad cold changed for You? I find it the worst that, it just lasts and lasts.. my wife recovers within few days and on the other hand mine goes for couple weeks and never feels I recovered
I'm glad you soldiered through this, but I'm so glad I didn't watch this before my surgery. I had packing and stents and day 1 after surgery was the absolute worst discomfort I've ever experienced. Couldn't breath out of my nose, my mouth was constantly dry and my eyes and teeth hurt for days for some reason. I just got the stents taken out today and it feels like a literal weight has been lifted off me. I can finally breathe again. Definitely have someone take care of you the first 3 days or so if you're getting stents and packing. Good luck to everyone getting the procedure done.
I have my 7 day post tomorrow and I actually don't know if I have packings but I started doing the saline rinses on both sides of my nose on my 3rd day and started the saline mist on my second day. I have sometimes been able to breath a little from my nose but mostly not. I hope this surgery works. Are you satisfied now?
I had this surgery four years ago. Plus - I can breathe. Minus seems like i keep sinus infections. I am not congested. I am faithful with my sinus rinses , always have huge gross mess that comes out. I dont know if others have this, but it comes thru my mouth sometimes which i find is totally gross. It happens random. I also now keep alot of chest congestion . Please know there are plus and minus to this surgery.
Listening to you makes me feel less nervous, but I was told I would have to rinse after my surgery. I had mine done on 29 may and go see the doctor on 5th of June.
They didn't even tell me I would need a netypotor how to use it. All I have is a saline mist solution, and I have this surgery. I was so drugged up that I couldn't go to buy. I have my first op appointment in a week and then I will ask the doctor.
Hi! Thanks for the review. We just booked at Playa Del Carmen. I’m hoping you can help me with a question - are the restaurants like Flora and BA, included in the all inclusive or is the dinner an additional charge?
Hello! Blue Agave and Flora were included. There are some items that you can pay A la carte for but for the most part the entire menu was included. There was only one steak place that was not actually included. If you have a Nikte room, your concierge will take care of reservations for you otherwise you can call for a reservation or wait for a spot. Making a reservation though will be key in getting into one of the restaurants.
Hiiii glad to see tat no splints such an amazing surgery can u please share full details of the doctor and hospital where u got the surgery done . Hey guys I just had this surgery done. I’m 5 days post op and I can finally breathe through my nose ! The worst part is not being able to sleep due to a blocked nose but pain was minimal ! I feel so good and have never breathed better right now
I had my septoplasty done three days ago and now I've been addicted to videos like yours. Thanks for sharing your experience. It really helps to know what things I might encounter post surgery! 🙂
7:45 Looks great man! Thanks for the video. As someone who does electrical work, make sure your flat head screws on your light switch plates are all at 12 and 6 (straight up and down) it’s something that a lot of people don’t notice but it makes it look cleaner and professionally installed.
It does hit a few tourists spots but it is pretty short. So it worked out well for us because of the kids. If it’s your first time in Nassau I would look for one that hits a few more places. This tour stays pretty close to the cruise port.
