How did you like Placencia? Was it worth the effort vs. staying on Harvest Caye/the ship? We have a cruise with a stop in Harvest Caye coming up and are looking into visiting Placencia.

I am taking my family on a cruise in March. We have a stop at Harvest Caye. 10 hours is a long time to spend at Harvest Caye, so we are considering going to Placencia. How easy was it to get there and back on the ferry?
