Everyone is commenting on the tie down , which is very important . No one says anything about when someone does this they don't realize changing lanes can easily get the trailer swaying back and forth and you lose control of your vehicle . You need to realize that the weight of the trailer with another car is much , much heavier than the rear of that car the car you're pulling with . That will whip you around in a heartbeat . The best thing to do is slow way down until you gain control .
My oldest brother had one brand new in 1969. 396 Yellow with black racing stripes. Ran like a scalded dog in the low end. Hemi Chargers and CobraJet Mustangs would catch up at about the 1/4 mile mark.
Neither car is beyond repair ....this whole thing sucks for that to happen ... .they definitely aint completely destroyed not even the silvergaydo that was towing the trailer
The trailer was overloaded for the conditions you were driving in. Anybody knows them, it'll fishtail every time as soon as you hit a bridge, you had to trailer way overloaded
