Hallo Michael … es ist sehr schön wieder eines deiner tollen Kanal-Updates anzuschauen … immer ein Highlight für mich! Ich drücke deinen lieben die Daumen und hoffe das sich gesundheitlich alles bald wieder zum guten wendet! Bin froh das du mit einem blauen Auge das Hochwasser überstanden hast. In meiner alten Heimat sind zwei Freunde mit ihren Häusern nicht so glimpflich weggekommen. Der kleine Bach hat sich durch den Regen in einen Fluß verwandelt und einen Teil von Meckenbeuren ziemlich heftig unter Wasser gesetzt. Liebe Grüße und frohes basteln, Markus

Ich finde es muss schon gewisse Grenzen geben, wenn es zu abstrus wird, ohne jetzt konkret an einen bestimmten Fall zu denken, sondern ganz allgemein. Meinungsäußerung ist das eine, aber es ist kein Medium verpflichtet diese auch zu veröffentlichen. So scheint es jedenfalls bei RU-vid zu sein, wobei ich den Eindruck hatte, dass ich zu 80% es mit Bots zu tun hatte und nicht mit Menschen. Daher war für mich wohl auch kein klärendes Gespräch möglich. Das finde ich wesentlich bedenklicher!

Kein Thema Thomas! Meine Wahl fiel auf IPMS Canada, die sind ziemlich günstig, aber der Antrag dauert relativ lange bei der Bearbeitung. Bis es nach Telford geht müsste aber alles parat sein :) Also am besten zeitnah die MItgliedschaft beantragen.
You can adjust the size, color, fond and pretty much everything else in the option tab in the right hand bottom corner of the video. It depends what you use to watch the video. On a smartphone it does not make a lot of sense, PC or TV is better. Try that and thank me ;)

RU-vid's monitoring of content is completely automated, so it targets what it's been programed to target. Unfortunately, there aren't any real humans working at youtube anymore haha. So looking for help with an issue like yours is a fools errand. It's certainly not personal, but their customer service and creator support is completely pointless. You aren't the only youtuber that is having trouble like this, and it is happening more and more often. Not just in scale modelling, it's all across the platform. Finding new venue's for your work is what others have done as well. As am I. The fella with the copyrighted camo is insane. Haha I've never seen that before, and you're correct, it's ridiculous. The Priest dio is superb, it's probably one of my favourites for your buildings. Well done.
Agreed man, it certainly felt like i was just pushed around by a machine. I contacted the support and i think i actually talked to people there, but they just hide behind their guidelines and tell me to look them up. Which i did of course and according to them i did nothing wrong at all. It even says hate speech is permitted if it is used in the context of art and education. Well........ Regarding the hobby, i am pleased with the Priest scenery and it is great to hear others like it very much, too! Your scratch built houses certainly helped me to try something similar one day, which i did now. Hats off to you for that mate :)
Halo Michael ! We had a hard time with the rain here too... pfffffff!!! As already discussed, YT is getting weirder and weirder and yes, Patreon is becoming the safe haven where artists can still broadcast without being stupidly censored. As for the modeler who criticizes you for using ''his'' painting method 😅......... it is completely the opposite of my conception of the model kit and painting on figurines. I have always helped others and others have helped me to progress. There is no secret, painting is painting and if we do not want to be a source of inspiration we do not teach and we do not show on a world public channel. This pitiful attitude doesn't make me want to see more of him. Congratulations on your beautiful dio ''Priest''. Inspiration should be a source of creativity, Can't wait to see the painted Gepard! I already wish you all the best for your trip to the USA, you will be amazed, it's very interesting. Kulmbach is very interesting for figures (I don't think there are any models kits ) . Loads of crazy things happened lately, i am done with it and hope i can continue with life as usual again now :) Well, your fellow countryman certainly surprised me with that claim about the painting method, maybe i just make a tutorial about it anyway just to see what happens next. Might be fun! The Kulmbach show seems to be very diverse and thats what i like, so i will do my best to be there and experience it in person :)
Michael, I must say that the period is complicated, politically, meteorologically, family-wise, transport-wise, work-wise, purchasing power-wise... I think that whatever happens, we must follow the path we have set for ourselves as much as possible and let the attacks and the attackers make noise without looking back. Do what you think is good for you and if you are wrong at least you will not feel remorse. Modeling and painting have often been good medicine for me, even in very difficult times.

Exakt meine Meinung zur Sachlage. Wobei bei RU-vid mittlerweile auch Pornographie Einzug gehalten hat. Da das aber viele Clicks erzeugt hat da YT natürlich nichts dagegen...die treten nur nach unten und suchen sich die Inhalte raus, die sie ohne Schaden für sich selbst leicht entfernen können.
Moin Michael, es freut mich sehr zu sehen, dass Du trotz der ganzen blöden Ereignisse Deinen Humor und Frohsinn nicht verloren hast. Ach man welch Ehre dass mein Diorama in deinem Video von deinem Diorama vorkommt:D Ich hatte dein Priest Diorama Anfang des Jahres gesehen, hatte dich da auch gefragt wie man dies nachbauen kann und hatte es dann direkt mit dem Chaffee nachgebaut weil mir das Haus so gefiel. Vielen Dank für die Inspiration. Tatsächlich verkaufe ich öfter Dioramen für den Preis aber man muss sagen dass der Markt für amerikanische Modelle kleiner ist als für deutsche. Momentan biete ich es noch an aber für doch wesentlich weniger:) Muss aber auch sagen dass ich deins besser finde als mein Diorama. Danke nochmal:)
Wie schön, dass du dich daraufhin auch meldest, das freut mich! Respekt für deine Arbeit und dass ich dazu als Inspiration dienen konnte ist doch eine feine Sache, auch wenn es für den einen oder anderen trotzdem etwas irritierend sein kann. Mich stört es jedenfalls überhaupt nicht :) Es melden sich bei mir desöfteren Leute und zeigen mir Bilder von ihren Dios, welche sie anhand meiner Videos hergestellt haben, dafür mache ich das alles im Endeffekt auch. Ich persönlich habe mich auch schon mal von anderen Modellen inspirieren lassen, macht jeder.
The channel updates are very good and if possible, don't stop. The dioramas inspire many, including me. I feel sorry for the modeler who thinks that any painting technique belongs to him. I don't think real modelers are like that. Rooting for you!
Great update. Thanks for posting Michael. I’m sorry to hear about the medical issues in your family. I hope things are working out. The Priest diorama cam our wonderfully. You must be really happy with it. I’m not surprised that someone has been inspired enough by your work to copy your ideas… you’ve always served as an inspiration to many modellers. 😀 Hope you have an amazing time at IPMS Nats. Hallo Michael, sehr gutes und informatives Update🙂. Schade, dass Du Deine Aktivitäten auf RU-vid reduzierst. Verstehe ich vollkommen, allein durch die angedrohten Konsequenzen von RU-vid. Erfreut hat mich, dass Du deine Kanal-Updates im 2-monatigen Rhythmus veröffentlichen willst🙂🙂. Völlig baff war ich, dass Dir juristisch gedroht wurde wie ein Tarnschema zu bemalen ist. Vielleicht ermahnt uns noch jemand, welche Pinsel und Farben ein Modellbauer zu verwenden hat, damit alles juristisch in Ordnung ist. Carsten
Vielen Dank Carsten! Es hilft leider nichts, den Weg muss ich gehen. Ich denke aber, dass der Zuschauer unter dem Strich nicht zu viel vermissen wird. Immerhin sind die Kanal-Updates gerettet, da kamen gute Argumente dafür, welche mich überzeugt haben.
Sorry to hear you have to deal with so many difficult things. Unfortunately, RU-vid follows the Napoleonic code of guilty until proved innocent. I'd suggest moving some of the videos to Rumble if you feel so inclined. A second unfortunate thing about RU-vid is you gain an "anti-fan club" along with your "fan club". I have one person out there who never fails to give me that one thumbs down every video. A third thing, and pointed out in other comments here, AI and whatever biases it picks up are not helpful. At least the beer in Czechia was good. :) Have fun in Wisconsin! I hope you like fried cheese. Love the weathering on the house. Not going to lie, looking forward to the Flakpanzer Gepard. Etliche Dinge die man nicht braucht, von den Krankheitsfällen, Hochwasser bis zum RU-vid-Ärger. Gut wenn Du in Deiner Art weitermachst! Dein Priest-Diorama läßt sich in jedem Fall als tolle Arbeit verbuchen, die Du sicher gut beachtet, in diversen Ausstellungen präsentieren kannst. Auch sonst nehmen Deine Projekte gut Gestalt an. Bei solchen Vorkommnissen, kommt der anstehende USA-Urlaub genau richtig. Wünsch Dir ne gute Zeit. Gruß, Joachim

RU-vid's AI has a lot of machine-learning to do to quit deleting videos incorrectly. This deletion issue appears to be happening across RU-vid. So sorry to learn of the challenges you must deal with, illness in the family, floods, and YT issues.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing punishment from Google. Google's algorithms used to detect hate speech has wrongly accused you of being antisocial. I can still remember your video from 2016 of Rommel's half-track. I don't remember seeing anything that was considered antisocial. I think the use of historical photographs along with historical music has triggered these algorithms to mark you as antisocial. It's sad to hear that you will be using less of RU-vid because of this. RU-vid has the biggest audience base compared to other sites. I hope you find a way to make new videos that doesn't trigger these algorithms to hurt you. Take care, my friend.
Thank you Collin, to people with more than three brain cells it is absolutely clear, but those are not the ones who decide things sometimes. It is ridiculous, but i can do nothing but rework my internet presence a bit in order to avoid such nonsense in the future.
Really interested in the Gepard build. Even more intrigued by the prospect of the Apache and M2! Let's hope RU-vid don't start to be silly about Ukrainian subjects next .
I had something similar on Facebook the other day. I had been watching RU-vid videos of tourists being disruptive and disrespectful to the King's guard. I made a post on FB where I said that I got a sense of satisfaction when the dummkopf tourists got yelled at by the guard. I didn't say "dummkopf", but similar English terms. I got notified my post was being deleted, due to being similar to other posts that violated community standards, inciting violence, and hate speech. Wahnsinn!
Facebook is a silly place for a very long time already. They banned me and my scale modelling page for no particular reason years ago. I am done with that platform. Now RU-vid starts to act up, it is like i am getting chased whereever i go.
Hallo . Erstmal vielen Dank für dein Update und die Erklärungen. Auch das die Updates wie bisher weiter so kommen.. Da ist ja verdammt viel auf dich eingeprasselt. Der Hammer für mich ist ja der andere YTuber der mit Anwalt kommt. Nun aber auch mal die schönen Dinge. Das Priest Dio sieht top aus. Auch bei den anderen Arbeiten bin ich gespannt wie es weitergeht. Hast du dir vllt mal überlegt ob beim Gepard auch das Digitalcamo der Ukrainischen Bradleys gut aussehen würde ? Ich wünsch dir ganz viel Kraft und Nerven um diese Zeit zu überstehen. Habe viel Spass auf der IPMS und vllt gibts ja gute Beute von Anbietern die wir hier nicht so kennen. Ich freue mich schon auf deinen Bericht.

I have no use for people like that and doubt anyone else does. To be so self centered and full of oneself can be chalked up to a character flaw or lack there of. Thanks for sharing this story as it's nice to see the opposite end of the spectrum where most modelers do not reside. Based on your issues with youtube, I will be following you on Patreon for sure...well done!

Rumble is available and i looked into it recently, but it has a couple of disadvantages for me. They don´t offer subtitle scripts, which is a severe drawback.
Denke ich auch, wobei ich ja trotzdem versucht habe das mit dem Support zu klären, wo ich tatsächlich mit Menschen zu tun hatte. Spätestens dann hätte es sich eigentlich vernünftig klären lassen müssen.

Das hat mit Deutschland nicht viel zu tun. Ich denke schon, dass RU-vid/Google in weiten Teilen schon sein eigener Herr ist. Das ist eine schlechte Mischung aus vorauseilenden Gehorsam und Unwissenheit seitens des RU-vid-Supports. Da kann die Bundesregierung nun wirklich nichts für.
Both Faeces-book and YouTurd have similar issues, they pick up the slightest little thing, real or imaginary, but let all the big spreaders of genuine hatred and lies continue unhindered. It's not only extremely annoying, frustrating and disappointing, but also dangerous. It's a shame you are moving on to Patreon for your final Reveal videos, as I will be missing them but I have to enjoy whatever you continue to post here on RU-vid. This is not aimed at YOU, you have been on Patreon for years.. I'm just fed up with all those who start a new channel and after a video or two and 5 subscribers, they start going on about Patreon and asking for money. I know in your case it is different, I will have to have a think about it.. As for my content, I'm leaving mine up.. If YouTurd want to close me down, they are welcome to do so. I mainly build for group builds these days anyway and they are nearly all on Faeces-book. As for the flooding, this is news to me, but I'm glad you weren't worse off than you were. Hopefully things has returned to normal now. Good to see you are still intending to go to shows and share your photos from there, the US show will be an experience for you and I'm looking forward to seeing anything you may want to share from that and other shows. I met a fan at the Ipswich show the other week and had to sign an autograph.. meeting fans are always fun! :) Finally, I can understand the confusion about the diorama on e-bay, but they do say 'imitation is the highest form of flattery'.. and you sure inspired somebody there, it seems!! Cheers Rob, you are probably the oldest and greatest supporter i have here! Social media is a mess these days, it is over- and underpoliced at the same time. Luckily my motivation for scale modelling is not really suffering, but one has to wonder, when we have to stop publishing our stuff online, since things are becoming more and more tight.

Das lustige ist ja, dass der betreffende dazu schon vor Monaten ein Tutorial Video gemacht hat. Ist also alter Kaffee. Werden dann die Leute, die das Tutorial für ihre Arbeiten benutzen, auch verklagt? Es ist eigentlich nur noch zum Lachen!
Hallo ich habe gerade das Kanal update gesehen. Klasse. Zum kopieren kann ich noch eine lustige Anekdote zu fügen. Ich habe ja das gleiche Dio vom T-34 und dem gerammt Stug. Bei einer Ausstellung wurde ich ultimativ Aufgefordert meine "Kopie" einzupacken, sonst müßte ich die Ausstellung verlassen. Um weitere Probleme zu vermeiden sage ich mal nicht wer es war. Vielleicht sollten wir irgendwann mal ein Bericht mit Vergleich der beiden Diorama machen. Mit modellbauerischen Gruß der Haral aus Berlin
Das ist ja total lustig, denn das Dio mit dem StuG und dem T-34 basiert schließlich auf einem Photo, folglich muss ja mehr oder weniger das Gleiche herauskommen am Ende, wenn man sich das als Vorbild nimmt. Verrückt, da würde mich tatsächlich schon interessieren, wie man dazu kommt, jemanden auf einer Ausstellung deswegen anzugehen.
