its so funny how the og ff7 has so many ways to break the game due to the materia system and they tried to limit that in this game by putting caps on stacking certain materia (HpUp mainly) but ppl still ended up breaking this game thanks to NEW materia lmao
I don’t know why i am reading reddit that people dislike using Aerith because they think she is weak but my goodness her Transcendence, all her Wards and Chrono Aegis are some of her sick moves.
I just noticed that max magnify materia reduces potency by 25%, but max magic focus materia increases it by 25%. So does that mean I can juat link two time materia (for example) on to focus/magnify and basically get the same 100% potency effect on to everyone instantly!
Yes, if you equip the same materia with multiple blue materias multiple effects will take place. So you could do like thunder+magnify, thunder+mp absorb, and thunder+swiftcast and have all three effects on your thunder spell at once.

@@TheGOATRammus Yup magic focus was 15% (level 3/5 I think) and MP absorption was level 2/3 so .2%. .2% is all you need with Genji Glove. Even without it's like 20mp for 9999 damage. I believe you can also put both magic focus on the same element to do up to 50% more damage / duration if you use both of them.
@@TheGOATRammus Anything that takes a long time cast like lvl 3 magic (good for maximizing stagger damage) or something you cast a lot/want to not be interrupted. I haven't used it a ton unless I need to get a spell off without taking damage as you only have so many materia slots, but it's great if you need to go fast.
This is extremely impressive. I'd love to see the full materia loadout you got on Aerith. I was stuck on this hard mode boss the other day, now i want to try it again lol. Does she use any speed materia? I saw ATB boost, ill have to equip that.
This game already broken af. I laughed so hard when people tells me that it's 9/10 platinum, when things like this, Unfettered Fury and Brumal Form exists. Not to mention genji gloves...
@MisteRRYouTuby I played the original last year and it's obviously great. But the combat is not nearly as enjoyable, and it was arguably the easiest turn based video game I've ever played. That's not to say it wasn't enjoyable at times or that Rebirth isn't easy too but the random battles of the original leave a lot to be desired and become a massive chore. Even the bosses by the midgame-endgame section become WAY too underpowered and can just be brute forced, enemy skilled and LB4'd into oblivion. Rebirth's combat can also become synergy ability/LB spammy, but at least the enemies can still stay constantly engaging, especially the bosses. PLUS, you can play Rebirth entirely turn based but you people STILL complain? But yeah, someone who thinks Rebirth's combat system is fundamentally better could NEVER have played the original 🗿
@daeronxi2804 everything you said is correct I do not disagree I played OG ff7 on release back in the 90s and rebirth is legit just a better game I mean how is it not?
No, just the one on Aerith. Cloud has a regular Expeditionary Medal and I used a Synergy Ability before the recording started. You can have multiple of the regular Expeditionary Medals, but I believe only one Enhanced because of the required materials.
@@biogamer93 Enhanced Expeditionary Medal on Aerith and Limit Siphon are the bare minimum. You can also give her stuff like First Strike, ATB Boost, ATB Stagger etc. to recover her ATB for Limit Siphon. Expeditionary Medal on the person you want to LB unless they don't have A Synergy Ability to raise their Limit then switch with that Aerith and have her do a Synergy Ability instead. Basically one person needs to to be able to raise their limit level by 1 or they will only be able to do a level 2 limit. The third person doesn't really matter, but you can give them stuff like ATB assist / Skill Master to recover Aerith's ATB and Limit Booster accessory (or Gotterdammerung of course) so they start with limit that Aerith can steal.
Aerith is probably the most powerful playable character in this game solely because of her lv3 limit break, but she also has the rest of her kit to break the game and the enemies too
Her combo with Yuffie's brumal form is absolutely busted. Possibly more than infinite limits since it goes twice and fast. Overall she does amazing damage and provides amazing support.
She also has the highest damage potential. Ive hit firagas with Aerith that dealt 88k damage in a single shot. Thats of course with stagger and elemental weakness and faith and the best possible build of course but with others the highest ive seen is 55k.
Good stuff. Now try Tifa instead of Barret and have her true strike stagger into 250% range then you’ll only need like one or two limits used at most probably deletes anything in the game on hard mode. Especially if you have her dolphin flurry. 🐬
ESPECIALLY especially with Swiftcast-Time Materia to Stop anything quickly so a panicking inexperienced player (me) has more time to do all of those things without making finger pretzels
Aerith's level 3 Limit Break takes her limit break but gives each party member their limit break in exchange. They added a materia called "limit siphon" developed from Chadley that lets you take an Ally's Limit and add it to your own (costs 1 ATB). So once Aerith's limit break is full you give two party members their limit and then use limit siphon on one party member to get Aerith's limit break full again and repeat. There is also an accessory called Enhanced Expeditionary Medal that lets you start at limit level 3 from the Nibel Region so that you don't have to use synergy abilities to raise her limit level.
@@Dante-sg4pw but how did Cloud also have his level 3 limit ready? at the start of battle. Does Aerith's level 3 give everyone else a level 3 as well? I thought it just charged their limit.
@blakecurry3880 he left our that you need an accessory on cloud called Guutterdamerang (idk how its spelled) that you get from chadleys VR battles. It starts you off with full limiy break on who ever had it equipped. It's easily the hardest item to aquire for the process lol.
There's no way to patch it really! If they'll make limit siphon steal only a part of the gauge, then this materia will be useless! And, as far as I remember, in the original game there are many ways to spam limit breaks!
Why are people saying this, like it's some big secret that Rising Fury+Limit Siphon=infinite limit breaks? You still have to get your other party members limit breaks up in order for it to work.
The gameplay feels faster here than in 13-2, even though I think 13-2 was meant to be faster. But I’ve been playing it all week and it feels much slower. This is amazing by the way, I prefer to do it with a whole team less stress haha. Specially since you have to keep changing the paradigms and that looks tiring. Also I’m noticing the healing is better, I had to sit through numerous healings on 13-2 that took way longer than they needed to be. Than came another wave of damage and I felt like I’d never leave medic medic sentinel lol. I had forgotten the difficulty on some bosses and actually quit the fights midway even, cause I was stuck healing the whole time. I realised now watching these different types of solo vids on 13 that I really do prefer 13 as a whole. But than 13 has plenty of levels, I have 28 saves in different parts of most of them, highlighting the beauty. The combat was always a highlight for me. The story was the best and I never didn’t understand it, I always knew what was going on. I definitely need to come back, I’ve done what I was meant to do on 13-2 and now it’s time to go back to the real game. I also miss some music that’s exclusively in 13 and I’d like to just stand and listen.
If you use Vanille's Mistilteinn/Erinye's Cane variant of weapon she has an attack/magic multiplier when allies are KO'd. With both allies KO'd and the upgraded version of her weapon her base damage is increased by 260% (*3.6) or 280%(*3.8) with adrenaline. Combined with all of the other multipliers in the game she will do very high damage. Genji Glove is used to break the damage limit of 99,999

One from mission 51 - Attacus, the Soulless (Attacus), one from mission 62 - Indomitable Will (Raktavija x2), and one from mission 63 - Crushed by Doubt (Adamantortoise). The easiest is 63 because Vanille can use Death to one shot it after enough luck/tries. Sorry for the late reply
