Very cool video, I like the format because a lot of people don’t show gameplay in their showcases. I hope you enjoy Dave the Diver, I had a lot of fun with it for many hours
I was waiting for a video like yours ! Thanks so much for that video !! Sad that the performance is still that bad …gonna go for the ps5 version then. There is not much hope for a big improvement with the next update tbh
Definitely the ps5 version is fantastic, I hope they fix it because the big audience is most likely in Japan for this game, and they were angry on Amazon reviews
You can use the GameCube 2.4ghz receiver with usb on PC and Switch. Moreover I tested the circulation on the sticks and they are perfect. In case you notice anything weird you can reset the controller and it will go back to being perfect again (but I haven’t had any issues).
@@MadaoAU YES PLEASE. Make a Video gameplay performance and if there are bazzite update . Please make update. I am planning to install bazzite but still scared. Lols. More power bro
Did bazzite broke your rainbow led? Mine does and despite resetting through cloud recovery, whenever I select rainbow in Armoury Crate, the light does not on. The other led lighting mode is fine.
No i chose to turn them off because it's distracting to me. In bazzite you can press 2 times the armory crate button then Y and then you can configure your HandheldDaemon program for whatever color you want.
Super nice. I have a question regarding something else. I will buy a ROG Ally X. Is it possible to play in 4K 120Hz with VRR on my TV? My TV has VRR, 120Hz 4K. Now with this, can you dual boot this OS alongside Windows?
YOu can dual boot, seen it from other RU-vidrs, but you won't be able to play at 4k 120hz since the performance is way to weak. For 4k 120hz gaming you need a high end gaming pc easily costing over 1.5k€
Yes you can dual boot so you can have windows and bazzite. Playing on your 4K tv is possible, I’m using the JSAUX dock 6 in 1 allows 1080p 120hz and looks fantastic. I’m playing Elden Ring and so many other games on 900p/1080p 30 watts it’s so good.
the thing is, the switch lite is for children. since you can only have one active switch at a time, including the lite. children and the homeless are the only ones i recommend a lite to. i really did now a homeless guy who loved the lite. pokemon violet!
I do agree the oled is great, but I feel in the future a smaller factor switch 1 will make more sense, even with a worse screen. If there is backwards compatibility for switch 2 you won’t really use it docked as much, so this could be good. I understand tho this is hard to justify if you don’t use it a lot for traveling. That is going to be my main point for a lite
I think it's the nicest switch lite but I already have a switch lite. I wish they would release some of these special editions at launch; I wouldn't mind paying a little extra for the nicer paint job, but I can't justify buying another console I already have, especially when we're less than a year away from its successor.
Unfortunately I just preorder the hyrule edition switch lite. I have the grey one is getting on a bit. So hyrule switch lite brand new is no brainer. Especially technically switch lite is discontinued for sometime. Thanks Nintendo.
Lol it won't be a paperweight. The switch library is already big enough that most people can game on a switch for a few more years with their back catalog and that's without counting on new games that will likely be coming to switch for a couple more years. Additionally, you could always hack it and have yourself a retro device, extending its useful life even longer. I do think this Zelda switch is the nicest switch lite so far, but I don't think I'll be getting it. I already have a switch lite.
@@whigmalwhim4760 what other platforms? Switch 2 MIGHT be able to play them, and that's the only other console that can play switch games. It's not crazy to wait 2-3 years after switch 2 releases to upgrade from switch if you have a huge back catalog and new games still to play. In that time, switch 2s might become available on second hand market too. Just look at ps4 to ps5; I haven't regretted not getting ps5 yet.
@@MadaoAU replace them by handling multiple delicate ribbon cables that could snap or break with dust. A regular switch is more repairable. $340 for a brand new switch is too high when second hand is cheaper if you want a switch to jailbreak and fix up. $10 more and you can get a steam deck
The Internet has ruined everything even video games. Sony and Microsoft are dead to me. I’ll stick with the Nintendo because they don’t require Internet. The digital slave age is ruining everything
Thanks for the suggestion, at the time I was struggling for space so I had to delete it. On steam it has been even more optimised now. I don’t drop bellow 30 fps even when everything is going insane on helltides
I ended up getting one for my vitatv a half a year ago, which is unfortunately hard stuck at 720p (or 1080i if you have a monitor/tv that supports it, i didn't). With it on i can see some bleeding/smudged pixels but it is overall sharp. With it off there is a very noticeable blurriness as the quality drops back down to up-scaled 720p. In short for me, its easy to get past the slight defects of the mclassic's up-scaling as the end result is a much better experience overall. Though its up to the individual if its worth the price for that upgrade, it's still cheaper then hard mods.
That is pretty much the case on Switch as well, after all this retails for 100$, it definitely is a more sensible price than what other upscalers go for. For it's price it does the job just fine. In some cases where the docked experience even on the Switch is 720p (even if you have 1080p select), you get similar experience to PSTV in that regard. I didn't want to mention it on the video, because it will get too technical and probably none really cares to do going up and down in the web to find out resolutions for the game they play and change every time.
Keep in mind while DLSS is better than FSR its only preforms better by maybe a few percentage points (and less counting AMD fluid frame generation). Assuming it uses the rumored T239 paired with the (rumored) 12gb of ram it should be comparable to the Steam Deck, however considering how Nintendo underclocked the Switch we can expect performance to be comparable but significantly worse (with the advantage of battery life).
I am strictly talking about the quality of the upscaling as what is better. Frame generation is still young, and it's getting better, but I don't think it's at the point that It's going to be used on Switch (maybe capable of hardware, but I don't think devs will support it immediately, many FSR3 frame gen games if you see on other videos I have on the channel, they can be rough and those people were "official partners"). I Agree that Switch 2 going to be underclocked, that will be the big difference that most people don't understand on hardware. It is tricky because even people that are used on PC hardware, these devices are tricker to understand sine the clocks, heat dissipation, weight, size and more are very key to the design and will play bigger role than what said hardware is capable. What I personally expect is 720~900p that gets upscale to 1080p, with rare1080p native output portable, with 1080p~1440p getting upscaled to 1440p/4K with DLSS. My reasoning for this is because the games for this hardware will look better because of better textures and hardware will be capable of having more post process effects. Raytracing is an extreme effect with minimal gains unless very powerful hardware. Anyone would choose Better details, Antialiasing and post process effects that Switch 1 is currently lacking, over RT.
Also for ray tracing. The switch would have hardware accelerated ray tracing with ray reconstruction. As opposed to the steam deck, which has neither. But can still run certain games decently with ray tracing. At least looking at the digital foundry video on it
I still believe even if it features Raytracing in games to basic techniques like reflections. I doubt that Nintendo themselves will create games that use it (since it tends to appear in Realistic worlds and not more cartoon/anime aesthetic that Nintendo first party titles go for). I don't believe even DLSS 3.5 can make it work in portable hybrid hardware (because developers have to think about many stuff like battery life, the last thing they need is having extra stressful effects). Moreover I don't think Nintendo is making anything like the steamdeck with fans rocking audibly, getting hot, and being a fat device. I Can't think them completely changing the form from Switch Oled
after more looking at the "potential" info we have that the dock may feature a fan inside and some more info about the specs, I changed my view on it. It may feature such features in docked mode (i don't believe we going to see them on portable)
@@MadaoAU yeah I’m thinking docked mode is gonna be a lot better this time around. They say the clocks are higher than you’d expect. And newer iPhones and now the new iPad have hardware accelerated ray tracing, so I feel like the switch actually having a fan will do a lot better. And I feel like if they were gonna use any game to showcase raytraced reflections, it’d be Metroid prime 4
I feel like certain games will hit 4k with dlss. It’s the most common resolution for household TVs so I don’t think they’ll just overlook it. That said. 1440p is completely fine with me tbh
Yeah I believe some exceptions may be for some more simple games without too many effects (most likely 2D and 2D with 3D rendered assets). 1440p is more than enough for sure, you boot mario wonder on Switch and it would look amazing anywhere. My point was mostly about games like TOTK, Xenoblade etc (although Monolith are masters in optimization so if anyone could make things best possible, it's them)
whatever Nintendo makes next, the games is what matters. ray tracing is a gimmic that's hardly used half the time, Nintendo doesn't needs things like ray tracing and dlss. just give me a 1080p console with 1080p games, and ill be happy.
100% agree, I just finished Xenoblade Definitive Edition it was amazing and now my favourite JRPG, what people want is good games, going crazy over graphical fidelity and resolution is something that I do not care about (and most non new gamers).
It is just the bitrate the game looks the best on steamdeck and switch smalls screens because both 720p. Even on 1080p you gonna notice that the sprites have a little bit of pixelation because they are not 1080p sprites
This is good, im a offline gamer (no internet access, until i visit library every 2 weeks for downloads) and always enjoy games that allow offline replayability
Thank you for this! I had opted to use geforce now in order to play this at 60fps on the deck. I am waiting on the devs to make a steam deck preset, and help the performance on the deck a bit.
do you feel the screen is too small for some games? I'm just on the fence between this and the Legion Go cause of the potential text-to-screen/HUD size ratio problems
No at all, I think the screen is proper size, the only games I felt that way was zoomed out strategy games, which you can’t really play without mouse and keyboard. I play many different genres of games and never really felt this was a problem. I wouldn’t suggest the legion Go because it’s just too big, unless you have big hands you may feel it’s too much. As for the text I have shortsightedness and astigmatism but even without glasses never have an issue to read (unless the dev never bothered about it )
I am in america, and I have not been able to connect online either. Now to be fair I have just started the game so my quests are all beginner, but with the game being brand new I thought I would have no trouble or shortage of people to play with. The only time i was able to connect was when I had pwr level set to off, and I got matched with over leveled players who beat teh boss in like 10 seconds.
Like I stated before in your last video, I can get online with quick quest. There are times that I can't connect with quick quest, but I can find matches. The problem with online matchmaking is with the undertake quest. With undertake quest matchmaking, I can never get into a match and this is the most important one because you can target farm a specific item or what have you. Maybe I'm having this problem because I'm playing this in early access, so let's see what happens in the incoming days.
The game is dope, but some of the problems in this game is the matchmaking. If you want to matchmake in a specific area to farm for a certain treasure, you can't find anyone. But, if you do the quick quest matchmaking, you'll find other players, which is a problem.
I am experiencing the same issue, it appears that my fears may be true and the game is Peer 2 Peer. That is the reason you get disconnects before you even match. check my latest video you going to see what I mean
