Thank you it helped a lot I have a 2006 mini Cooper s John works. Got them out in about a half hour The right side or passenger side was a little more difficult because it was tighter. But thank you for the info I got it done
I love all of this good advice in such a short video. That tid bit about being able to separate the clip from the base saved me a ton of time and possibly some wear marks. Thanks
Great video. I only have one question though. I've seen another video, same process but using a tool for the job. The video said to remove the pins in one direction, and replace them in the opposite direction. To know which way to go you have to look at the arrows on the links underside. Seems straight forward enough. However. My strap has arrows pointing in both directions going outwards to the outer edge of the strap. So which way should I tap them out? Or is it simply the case that you can do it either way? I'd love to know before I end up with a damaged strap and a trip to the jewellers haha. Thanks.
Yea, I just did this, it’s WAY easier to just use your hands to hold the clips together and pull out the circuit board with the bulbs. Mini made this a 10 second job including removing the panel and snaking out the bulb board backwards. No tools needed, no need to remove the housing and not even necessarily to disconnect the electric.
Awesome bro thank you I just received my expensive watch but want it a lil more snugged so I didn’t want to take it spend 2hours drive and to find some one to change it for me if I can do it my self and with this omg simple so thank you 🤘🏼
No need to do that just take off the plastic light bulb holder. Spent 20 minutes for the clips but i didn't had any movement in it. So the short answer is take off the light bulb holder
Awesome, thanks for the simple straightforward video. I just broke mine and knew someone will have made a video on it. Thank you for your time and effort in making the video. CHEERS !!
