GTech Fixit You did a good job but have one question. If you said I missed it, but when you put the new rope on you have it coming out the top of the winch. I have always been told that the rope or cable should be coming off the bottom Just a question not a complaint. Thanks for the install vid.
I fed it threw the same way it was done from the Polaris Dealer originally. In theory the lower your winch or rope is mounted the better the odds are that it will help pull your front up and out. If your winch and rope are high it will pull down on your front. We are only talking an inch or two for the top or bottom of the winch, so I'm not sure it matters, so I replaced it the way it was.
