I love sharing my bullet journal and reading journal spreads + talking all things books and stationery. Grab some coffee or tea and lets get reading and journaling!
Once Upon a Time a Broken Heart did sound more interesting to me as well, so I read that trilogy and didn’t read Caraval at all. I know, I’m a rebel…lol. I did really love the series. So far it’s my favorite of the year! I will say it seemed like they mentioned a few things that probably were more explained in the Caraval series, and I heard some characters overlap, but I wasn’t lost at all and really loved the story. I am now going to go back soon and read the Caraval trilogy though.
I’m not a planner person, but I clicked on this because of the Totoros. Very cute and nicely drawn! Whisper of the heart is my favourite Ghibli movie too, I fist pumped when you said it’s your favourite too aha
Yay I’m glad you enjoyed the video☺️ and ahhh I love to find someone else who appreciates Whisper of the Heart like I do!! It’s such a sweet and inspiring movie🥹🥰
That’s so strange, because it works when I click on it! I believe you do have to be logged into Pinterest though of else it will just take you to the login page
I've seen Howl's Moving Castle and Kiki's Delivery Service so far. I'm slowing making my way through the Studio Ghibli movies. I think I'll do My Neighbor Totoro next. Loved your set up, it is so cute and whimsical!
I’ve thought about that but this journal is one grid space taller than my last notebooks so it needed different spacing measurements! I also like playing around with different styles too :)
I’m always so impressed with your color palettes. So minimal but so impactful!! In July, I started my first ever bullet journal. Very low key for now, but I did borrow a lot of your ideas for minimalist spreads from the last few months. I’m enjoying myself so far! (Also, thanks for including goofs in your videos, it makes me feel so much better about my mistakes ❤)
Oh that’s so exciting!! Glad you’re enjoying your journal so far☺️ and it makes me so happy to hear I can provide some inspiration for minimal spreads!!!❤️❤️ (and yeah I don’t know if I can ever make a single set up without at least a few mistakes hahaha)
I love the theme and the colors, especially with the gold ☺ I've been using Vivid Scribbles for something similar to a reading journal for several months. It doesn't see nearly as much use as my bullet journal but it's held up nicely so far!
Ooh that’s great to know! It’s nice to find budget-friendly but still high quality options! So glad you enjoyed the theme - I especially love the gold too🥰
Ahh, I've been so occupied the last few months, and now I get to sit down and catch up on your videos. 😊 My reading comes in waves too, both with how much I read and the preferred genre. I love fantasy!
Ooh yay!!! Hope you like the most recent vids☺️ yeah I’m honestly still riding the romantasy wave… I’ve binged Caraval, The Cruel Prince, and most recently ACOTAR this summer! Just now catching up all on these popular series that everyone talks about haha. But I’m about to start Mistborn which I’m beyond excited for! What fantasy books do you like to read?!

Yep lots of travel that month so I didn’t film a video! I did include making my March reading journal pages in my Cottagecore reading vlog video though, so if you want to see what I did in my reading journal that month, you could watch that video!☺️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6Nq9Tk_4apE.htmlsi=F62_J12BC-G551hY
Ana, I absolutely LOVE your theme! I tried drawing some dandelions for my July theme but failed miserably so chose something different but you make it look so easy so I’m going to try again in August. I also think I’m going to try your weekly setup when I start my new journal in January. It makes so much sense. Love all that you, thanks for sharing your talent with us! ❤
Thank you so much Julie!!💕 that’s awesome that you’re going to try dandelions again for August, it’s such a fun theme! And yay, I hope you like this weekly format as well. It’s been working really well for me so I’d be curious to see how you like it☺️
My favorite thing about bullet journaling is being able to change things up according to what I need in that time ☺️ Idk how helpful this will be for you, but my bujo wasn’t really helping for my work, so I ended up getting a separate planner with traditional calendars, and pre-designated spaces for weeks/days. My bujo isn’t crowded with work tasks now, and if I don’t want to bring work home with me, I just leave my planner at work.
Yes the personalization is the best :) I’ve thought about doing separate journals for different things. It’s only been the past two years that I started using BuJo for work in a addition to personal, so I’m still figuring it out. Thanks for your input though, I’m always so curious how other people use their journals!!!
