Lovely spread, very inspirational. Thanks for breaking down how you draw the butterflies to show how achievable the design is, despite it looking complex.
Hi Ana, what a stunning spread! I love the way you have incorporated RC’s bullet journal but still kept it your own. I am finding my dailies look messy, but I guess it just takes time to get used to. I have just done it like RC. Your idea of putting it all into a box like last month is a much better idea! Did you ever read Atomic Habits? I know it was n your list. I never watch the reading journals of any content planner as I just do not like fantasy and most people seem to do that. I love self help books and my book for May is When the body says no by Gabor Matte. Love the little printer I never go out as I am disabled so only take pictures of my cat!, 😂😂 she is 15 and doesn’t have very many different positions except curled up sleeping! Its her 16th birthday on the 5 of May will definitely take photos on that day 🎉hee hee. Take care
Thank you so much!😊 yes I love this weekly/daily format so much, it’s been working really well for me. I’ve read a little bit of Atomic Habits not much, but planning on that being my next self help book after I finish Why We Sleep! I’m actually thinking about making a special little self help section in my reading journal haha. Happy early birthday to your cat!! I take endless picture of our kitties too even though they look the same🫶🏼😂
What a beautiful spread, I love the muted colors you used! I’m very intrigued by your calendar and weekly spreads, think I might try it as well. My usual calendar - boxes, is not enough room. I too spend too much time filling out my task lists with things I know will not get done within a certain month just to fill the space. I admire your dedication to not doing that! ❤
Thank you!🥰 Ah I’m glad someone else related to the over filling in the tasks list!! And yeah the monthly log ~feels~ wrong but is actually very functional! I’m absolutely loving the weekly/daily set up though. It’s saving a lot of space in my journal so far!!
Lovely! Love the butterflies! For my to dos I split a page and put the ones I need to get done in a timely manner on top and the "someday" tasks on the bottom. I actually have my tasks in its own section instead of including in the monthly setups, that way I can cut the pages in half so I don't have to rewrite the "someday" tasks over and over.
I really like the way u describe each feeling u have while writing all thru out ur video, thats why ive subcribed, anyway, as a beginner in journaling (im from the Philippines) these simple and sophisticated look/design is what i love..thanks and please keep on sharing 😍 God bless!
Thank you so much, so happy to have you here!!🥰 I agree that simple but elegant designs are what I try to find for journaling! So exciting that you’re starting to journal, welcome to BuJo!!🫶🏼
I would love to see a few links to the specific inspiration drawings you use for the artwork in your BuJo pages. I often have trouble finding ones that are easy to draw.
These are the two pins that I drew most inspiration from: pin.it/1j1TH9pLp, pin.it/6BFKK7RTu. Although I did make some alterations, including simplifying the style, so they won’t be exactly what’s in my journal! I often get inspiration from more complex drawings and pictures and then create designs that are a little simpler for my journal :)
I’m not sure I know exactly what you mean?! I spend several hours creating my monthly set ups each month and then usually an ~hour making new weekly spreads each Sunday. Then I use my journal as my daily planner throughout each day :) hope that helps!
