Hello and welcome to Buckle Up Mk2, the second channel of the Buckle Up franchise. Follow the adventures of a trio of Brits - Harry, Jasper and Rob - in a quest to satisfy their passion for all things motoring in a hopefully entertaining (if somewhat argumentative) manner.
From reviews to podcasts, and first drives to vlogs, this is the more informal space for anything that doesn't make it to the main Buckle Up channel.

Great video, this Mini Cooper S looks amazing!! And I love it. Not sure about the colour of the seats. The Newest 2025 models are been made to look “Cheap” and old school. With way to much Plastic and the Price “Tag” has gone through the roof on all their models. A brand new 2025 Countryman JCW’s is over $69,688.00 before “Taxes” in Canada to Buy. These newest models are way over Priced for sure. Don’t like it at all inside with removing all the Toggle switches and replacing them with a plastic key to start the newest mini’s. And with not having a instrument panel in front of you is very distractive specially if you have to keep looking over at the circle ⭕️ all the time. Not the same thing with only having heads up display to look at all the time. That would drive myself totally Nuts!! Mini, will lose a lot of their loyal customers because of these drastic changes I feel. But I really do feel these customers will hold onto their older models and then just keep buying used models mini’s at the end of the day. Yes, there customers are going to go “Test Drive” one but not to many people will put that kind of “Money” down to really own one I feel unless they have a lot of “Money” to burn in there bank Account. Mini, has taken a very “Big Step$” in losing a lot of their loyal customers and followers of this iconic brand with bringing out he 2025 and 2026 newest minis looking like they’re. They don’t know the saying if not broken don’t fix!!
Toyota pickup trucks, particularly the Toyota Hilux and Land Cruiser models, have become notable for their use by freedom fighter organizations and insurgent groups as "technicals." These vehicles are prized for their rugged durability, reliability, and off-road capabilities, making them ideal for the harsh terrains often encountered in conflict zones. Freedom fighter groups frequently modify these trucks by mounting heavy weaponry, such as machine guns, anti-aircraft guns, and rocket launchers, turning them into highly mobile and effective combat platforms. The ease of maintenance and availability of spare parts for Toyota pickups further contribute to their popularity among such groups. This widespread use has been observed in various conflicts across the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia, highlighting the unintended role of these commercial vehicles in modern asymmetric warfare.

The cooper s model reviewed has a 4 cylinder 2 litre engine. The cooper model has the 3 cylinder 1.5 litre engine. Those extra horses might explain why the traction light came on😊
@@dan-no5qlit is worth the change from the cooper to the cooper S I owned a 2020 cooper and upgraded to the cooper S and it was worth the change but if you don’t really wanna drive fast might just keep the cooper cause they both feel similar
You get a like for this video. I'm an owner through 6 months / 20.000+ km, I love this car, and I can feel how Toyota put all of their Hybrid knowhow into the bZ. So you were using footage from Denmark (the dark grey)
The only think that have to be proven is the reliability that will have the engine and all the car overall. If its good, then it'll be the best of the segment no doubt (for the price it has)
Bet you’re fun at parties… we were actually going 17mph. 100mph would have been much less dramatic. If you want more serious videos, we have a main channel for that. Otherwise, there’s a programme called countdown on channel 4 which might be more your speed.
@@buckleup_Mk2 evidence from Google suggests otherwise. Sorry I was watching you in the bath last night!! "This is the button on the console that allows the driver to use one-pedal driving. That means you use the accelerator primarily and then there is boosted regenerative braking to slow the vehicle as you let off said accelerator.19 Mar 2023"
I’m afraid that, as is usually the case, the internet is wrong. That’s just normal regen. The car doesn’t come to a complete stop, which is what ‘one pedal driving’ refers to.
I guess you mean regenerating power? All BZ4X has that... One pedal driving. Don't like it. Stops the car very hard so it's a matter of getting to know the system. Otherwise you just end up full stop meters from where you intended. I just let go of the gaspedal and semy-drift, (regenerating power on a small scale but on a longer stretch), untill I brake to a complete stop. That works better for me.
All electrified Vehicles do regenerative braking, question is how and how much, the bZ does it in the same manner as their Hybrids. One pedal driving yes and no, Toyota use the term Regeneration Boost, which you can enable by pushing a button. As allready mention, it will not take the car to a full stop, but to 15 km/h. If you take the narrow definition of opd, the answer is no. If you will accept not full opd or limited opd, the answer is yes. At the end it become an agument over the definition of terms. Two groups may use different terms on the same thing, then use the same term and on two different things.
We will see if it can last 15 years. See if they did work to making vehicles last a long time. Their whole beyond zero goal has meant a massive dip in quality.
