I don't think Jaw on Floor is enough to describe the reaction I had to this. This fits the feel of Rohan so well both thematically and in terms of their inspirations in the Vikings and Old English. I hope you do an extended version at some point, but having heard this at all is a wonder. Blessed be!
I think this would go great as the intro for a sci-fi movie. The camera slowly travels along the length of the space station until it locks focus on an astronaut doing EVA as everything else slowly turns behind then.
The hurdy-gurdy is an instrument of medieval origin, not Baroque; however, I like your interpretation, and I think the piece "Carol of the Bells" suits this magnificent instrument very well.
I'm wondering if vicarious would be a good Tool tune to play on a hurdy gurdy with the sound on the intro and looking for a hurdy gurdy cover. Guess schism is close and definitely works.
Théoden King of Rohan - RIP - Rohan - the white horse - Shadowfax - Gimli bows to the lord of all horses - these few seconds from the movie - move me every time - because it is so beautiful. King Théoden of Rohan - is one of the best character for me. Thx wonderfully played - Honor and strength.
