@@jaredbarrett1015 I have several I utilize, most work pretty good. The old versions don’t overheat as much, so something to consider. The newer versions perform great, just process so much and overheat fairly quickly without wicked crazy temperatures. I wish you great success and enjoy the process, it’s definitely different. Have an epic day!
I put a ton of locations out Obi, I just can't put them all out. I have a couple when I regain my sanity when the world gets too crazy.' Thanks for hanging out and I hope the day is terrific for you!
I primarily use 10 pound test Power pro when chasing bass in our local area. If I'm chasing bigger bass or areas with more breakup potential, I will move up to 15. I'm huge on using the lightest possible line to get maximum sensitivity. I hope you have a magnificent weekend, thanks for dropping in!
Sure thing! If you're in the rivers going for giant catfish, carp or gar that larger braid size would be a good choice. I hope you smack some big fish this weekend!
@@MarcosReyes53 I post a ton and show locations all around town. I don’t post them all, as I won’t have anywhere to fish. Have a terrific weekend and keep casting.
I picked up a Profishiency Americana baitcaster to match up to my son’s Krazy, and I spooled it up and fished our office pond to try it out this morning- 20 fish in 80 minutes…best day in a long long time. Pink wacky no weight for most of em, switched up to pumkin similar to what you used. Wish we had that great cool morning weather we had for a couple days, but the fish didnt like that wind over the weekend! Lets go San Antonio!!
What's good Steve? I'm with you, with the wind last weekend the 1/2 ounce Spinner Bait was on fire for me as well. Thanks for hanging out, have a terrific night!
The doors said it best: people are strange, and places are stranger lol. I am enjoying your videos. Plus as a newer RU-vidr, I am also watching for ideas to improve my channel.
EARLY, EARLY Fall Fishing is upon us, even though it surely don't feel like it. The bite is HEATING up and the weather is TRYING to COOL down. Have a terrific moth of September and get ready for the FALL Bass BITE!
Oh yeah, mid week surprise for the Aqua-Holics! Thats for the tips and pointers, we've been eyeballing a pond of late and now ready to hit it. Thanks for always being consistent and helping those of us in need.....
@@TimothySingletary-f7n I’m out fishing bud, I would have to dissect the video, as I fish and post a lot. I have a ton of videos up stating exactly where I’m fishing, it’s forever changing my man. At the San Antonio River now and they’re biting. Hit Roosevelt park and work a few different baits. Bass, Carp, Sunfish and Catfish are pretty active. Have a great one!
Thanks Jonathan, appreciate the kind words man! I'm hoping to get out and fish soon, been locked in at work way too much of late. Thanks again and have a terrific week!
Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it! That was a size 1 in this video, still fishes a little big for me. I'm crazy about the smallest hook & weight you can possibly get away with everywhere. Have a magnificent week!
It depends, but in this scenario I'm using 10 pound hi-viz braid and connecting to 8 pound fluorocarbon leader. Use whatever makes you comfortable and/or confident though, thats isn't needed in these local waterways. I run many different setups depending on my target, this isn't ideal for everybody.
Caught a good 2.5 lb off the main pond there then thought I hooked another one in the little one next to the road but it was a cup. Hate to see the litter from people and nasty fishers
Terrific catching man, it's challenging at this little spot, tons of daily pressure. I'm with you, the trash from the dirty, unethical crowd makes it super difficult. People get upset when folks don't share spots, but they leave them such a mess all the time. It's really frustrating! Thanks for hanging out and have a magnificent week!
It’s cool to see someone local making videos and catching some fish. I just went fishing for the first time today and I’m hoping to learn some tricks from your videos. Do you not use a float with that plastic worm? Also it looks like you reel in a little then let it sit? Like a stop and go?
Thanks Cloud, appreciate your kindness, means a lot. RU-vid is funny, folks want to watch people catching fish or learn about catching, but not both. So, it's hard to teach, as many are only interested in one or the other. I rarely utilize a float, bobber or otherwise, unless I need it. What many bass like is seeing the bait fall. So, what you oftentimes see me doing it replicating the fall. This is mimicking a worm or something of the like entering the water column initially. Many bass will attack it on the fall or after it's on the bottom of the water column, but not after. So i repeat the process over and over again. I hope this makes sense through words. Have a wicked good Sunday and an absolutely tremendous week ahead!
@@Aqua_Holic_Fishing I appreciate you replying. But I understand where you’re coming from. When I first wanted to get into fishing I was just searching for teaching videos but now I enjoy watching people catch fish but I also want to learn if I can. And yes it does make sense. I’m going to buy some of those worms and try it out next weekend! Thanks again and I hope you a great week as well. I look forward to more videos.
@@Cloud.210 I’m glad you’re keeping with it, many quit straight away. Fishing is challenging, no doubt about it. Fishing in San Antonio is even harder, conditions and pressure specifically. I always post something in the video, location, baits, techniques or otherwise that will assist folks along the way. Thanks again and keep casting!
Thanks Variant, appreciate the kind words! You and I both, I'm craving some 3-6 pound bass bites, it's been a minute. If we can stay on some rain, we will awaken them thick girls.... Have a magnificent week, enjoy the lighter temps we're expecting!
That most certainly was a giant mud hole! Thanks for hanging out on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. I hope you have an enjoyable week with this stellar weather change up!
Post Frontal Fishing can provide an excellent opportunity for that bass bite. Try PRE & POST frontal conditions for a BIGGER bass bite. I hope y'all have a fabulous week ahead, fall is just around the corner!
Dude, I love the wacky worm setup and you make it so fun to even watch you fish when some of us can’t get out to fish that now I carry 5 bags of different worms at all times in my backpack 😅
Thanks for the kind words and vibes, really means alot! I completely understand the some of us can't, whether it's work, health or otherwise, I feel this wholeheartedly. Yes, I always have way too much gear and use a fraction of what I'm actually carrying. Have a magnificent Sunday!
@@Aqua_Holic_Fishing Dude, you need to do a September top bass baits video! Always appreciate local recommendations versus others that aren’t from our area.
Everytime I watch a video of yours I end up on a mission to find the “spot” lol I’m pretty sure I’ve never succeeded but I do get out & find new spots. Love your videos, hope to see you out there one day!
@@ericbaldelomar4207 you’ll find them, we don’t have too much water in our immediate area. I’m out looking for yours right now, no success yet. Have a great one!
Awesome video like always. I am just recently getting into fishing with my buddy and we tried to follow your advice (I've seen you give out before) about walking up a creek in town. Thought we had a nice little spot on Beitel Creek near where it meets Salado creek but either there was no fish or they weren't hungry. Maybe next time!
You'll get em Variant, be patient. Creeks will be taking off with a strong bite within a month or so, that should become an epic bite! Slow and steady, it will come. Thanks for hanging out!
Went out pond fishing on Friday as well and managed 3 bass. Fluke, wacky rig, and chatterbait caught bass biggest bass at 2 pounds on the chatterbait. Can’t appreciate you enough helping kids and blessing them with lures. Awesome video aqua!
Congrats on getting some bass action on Friday! I believe if we don't keep the kiddos in the great outdoors, we've failed them completely. Especially in this day and age, it's way too easy to stay cooped up indoors. Have a magnificent Sunday and an epic week ahead.....
Thanks a million, I always appreciate you! We must keep our kiddos involved in the great outdoors in my opinion, it super important! Have a tremendous Sunday evening!
