Grew up in the coastal bend. Used to LOVE fishing at all the little fishing spots in the area. You are right, there are a TON!!! Some of my favs were between Corpus and The Bluff (Memorial Causeway Fishing Beach), Red Dot. Fun times. Thanks for the memories!
Appreciate the information and knowledge provided here. I love when trips, fishing and such in areas are relatable to others. I too love this area, been attacking it for years, unfortunately life happened and I took a huge break away from it all. I hope life is well and you still have an opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors no matter where you might be. Thanks for stopping by, stay blessed!
Before the Lexington, I used to stay at the Coronado and walk out to this Jetty. Catch a couple trout to have for dinner. I haven't fished it since they set up there. Been a long time!
Yes sir, I remember the Coronado! I love fishing down there, just wish the weather would be a little more mild consistently. Thanks for stopping by and stay blessed!
The Texas Coast offers some incredible fishing opportunities. If you haven't had an opportunity, I would highly encourage you give it a go. Tight lines and Happy Mother's Day to all!
Oh yes, Mother's Day just got better! We just left down there Aqua, I had no idea the fishing was good in the immediate area. That bird was the craziest thing ever! Thanks for the lessons, excitement and entertainment....
It was super windy that morning, so it wasn't easy. However, that bay holds some giants no doubt. Yes, that damn gull was on my last nerve! 🤣 Happy Mother's Day, I hope it's terrific!
Thanks Josh, appreciate you bud! Yes sir, Corpus and the surrounding area is a freedom that I throughly enjoy. Thanks for watching, always appreciate you!
I know, man , it didn't take 2 million years to lay those beautiful rocks for you to fish from .C.C. love that area . Just subscribe to your channel. Love your content....down to earth 👌
Thanks Humberto, really appreciate you!] I hope life is good and you have a blessed evening. I'm trying to get some action in now, but it's packed everywhere! Thanks again sir!
Heck Yeah, cool little area all together! I hope you had an opportunity fish some while in the area. Have a wicked good weekend and thanks for hanging out!
The USS Lexington has some good fishing. You should try using a popping cork with a shrimp. I love a popping cork as an indicator for a bite. I know some people say it’s cheating but I love it. Always gets me fish
Yes sir, always a good option! I like the slip cork in that area, as it's pretty deep in that area specifically. How is the fishing back home, y'all getting any time on the water? I hope all is well Aaron, appreciate you stopping in!
@@Aqua_Holic_Fishing yeah you know how there is that restaurant on the right side of you as you walk up towards the pier99. The right side cast about mid ship is amazing. I have seen late at night a guy reel up a 30+inch redfish. It was honestly beyond remarkable. I think that's the fish it was. That guy was using cut mullet. I use spoons or shrimp. And catch pretty good there. I have caught a flounder there
@@ohFoou Oh I got you. Yes, I fish that side as well, but depending on the wind mostly. If it's windy, the ship side is protected a little bit and I use really light tackle for the most part. Thats a really nice area, not too packed, quiet and peaceful fishing without a doubt. Have a wicked good evening bud, stay blessed!
Appreciate the input, I always use the smallest hook and least amount of weight possible when fishing. Have a super weekend and stay blessed out there!
I'm not from the area, so don't know it well. I paid to park in that immediate area for 10 bucks. Likely better options, I just don't the area well enough.
@@Aqua_Holic_Fishing alright bro whatever you think but I know from experience it is much easier to use live bait rather than artificial, and I didn’t mean that in a shit talk kind of way it was just what I observed
