I've been down in that mine very crazy inside cat wait to go back. You went past another way in walking to where you rappelled. You have to go down hill and over boulders to bottom and there is a hole in wall can rappel down in.looked huge looking through the hole.

@RG did you end up getting one? I moved back from out of state and brought mine. Looking for off-road places to ride and people to ride with. I don’t ride mine in the street. I’ve heard of unlicensed bikes and ATVs getting confiscated and don’t want to risk that.
This place is ready to crumble down in ruin. If they can save Boldt Castle in Alexandria Bay NY, they can save this castle too. It looks so fragile. Hope they can save it and restore it.
In 1985 on a sail trip from Albany to NYC we anchored overnight off Bannerman's Island. I rowed the dinghy ashore alone and explored the island in the twilight. No bracing for the castle walls was in place at this time, so it was a little scary, not knowing the stability of the ruins. Okay, its gonna have to be rebuilt!....ha, well, apart from millions of dollars, the red tape(D) would prevent that. I never knew there was a sort of smaller structure known as a residence, ...didn't know that at all until this video.
