I have a hot springs limelight with salt system and it’s brand new. It’s now telling me there’s a salt inactive no circulation error and the blue light is off and a yellow light is flashing. I dont know what that means or what I need to do.
@@johnny.twister honestly it was user error more than anything. Not sure what exactly but I think when they installed it they added to much salt. I just emptied it 1/4 out and put fresh water in, cleaned all my filters and took the salt cartridge out and cleaned it with fresh water and put it back in. Then I went to the main breaker box and powered the entire house down for about a min. Worked fine after that.
This is going to sound silly, but where on earth are we supposed to put the Neutral wire on the new motherboard? I've been looking at the diagram, and it shows that Red goes to #2, and Black goes to #3, but it does not show anything in #1 or #4... TERRIBLE documentation... electrical diagram doesn't mention neutral at all. THANK YOU in advance for your help!!!

Good afternoon, the gfci is in the software of the hot tub itself so it doesn't require a neutral. However, code is going to tell you to run a neutral so best thing to do is cap it off on both sides so it doesn't create an issue. Furthermore, you do still need a gfci breaker per code and I know what you're thinking why do I need a gfci if I don't have a neutral? What we think doesn't matter as we have to follow the codes. Good afternoon, my suggestion would be start with the basics. Balance the pH, then chlorine. Remember, that salt is sodium chloride and turns into chlorine so you should maintain at least a 2-3 parts per million of chlorine. Until you do this you really don't have a true reading of the rest of the test strip. My biggest suggestion is get into a habit of maintaining your hot tub every week same day, same time. This is one of the biggest issues I see with water chemistry. Let me know when you get to this point and I will help you find your weekly regiment but this is where we need to start. Hope this helps!

This is such an amazing idea. We bought a cameo 880 last year. I think you commented to someone else is this is only on the 2024s right now. I would love to know when it would be available for prior year 880s and what kind of cost. We live in AZ and were using the cameo 4 times a week or more then summer happened and it's just so hot here, it's hard to want to be out there.
Good afternoon, my guess is it won't be very long but it won't integrate with the topside control. You'll have to controller it from the chiller itself and unplug the heater. This is no big deal but worth notating. The cost for service and the unit will most likely will be around $2500. In my opinion, it's well worth it. Hope this helps!
I’m tried that in my new jacuzzi, but the control panel the alarm appears, LCDF…BLINKING-..the pump don’t turn on and the control the vendor say me is a Balboa😢. I can’t see the light in this tunnels 😢😢😢

Once we receive our spa around late summer, our plan is to install the heat pump on the opposite side of the front panel, so the heat pump lays under the opened cover. But as of today it is still a mystery to us to know whether we’ll have enough space to go through the entire spa with the plumbing. More efficient and more esthetic if doable And we were planning the buy a Poolex hp but after seeing your video explaining that 880 (Marin) are balboa inside, I’m rethinking twice.

However, I would use this chiller that integrates with it. Otherwise, you can have issues between the hot tub heating and the chiller. You can just unplug the heater but the integration does make it easier. Hope this helps!
I have a 880 Marin and the status light on the outside is out. Will the reset maybe fix that? There are no error codes and the hot tub is running normal but I light that light to tell me everything is ok
And if we wait for 30 seconds, and doesn’t work and our computer computer just says initializing for hours and hours and nothing happens then what do we do?

My 4" concrete pad was 2" off level so before my tub was delivered I found a product called The Spa Level-R online. They custom built a platform for my tub which leveled it perfectly. There are like feet, or glides built into it which you just adjust and level. Bonus was it raises it off the ground as well, preventing any rot to my skirting. Only downside is it took 10 days to get but well worth the wait considering it was a perfect match to the size of my hot tub.
Hi, i’m getting the HFL and LF code, sometimes dry code as well. I cleaned it and refilled it, fired it back up and all was normal. Turned the temperature down significantly cause i went away on holidays. Now i’m getting the codes described above. Already removed filters, refilled spa through the filter holes with a hose, opened the connections to the pumps in case it could’ve been an airlock but with no succes, i keep getting those errors. All the normal jets work except for the ones that have hot water output into the spa. The heater works as well since if i use my submersible pump with the output in the filter hole i can feel hot water coming through the hot water output jets and the error codes don’t come up again. Any idea what the problem could be?
@@mas5517 Good evening, HFL - Substantial difference between temperature sensors detected and could also be a flow problem such as airlock LF - Low Flow (Displays on the 5th occurrence of HFL message with 24 hours) Heater is shut down Simply put I think you have airlock and you'll need to bleed the air out of your circulation pump or 2 speed motor that controls the heat. I had a Sundance Altamar from 2001 to 2021. Never winterizing it of course because it is during the cold months that i like it much. But now that Altamar is death, my wife wants a Swim spa. Is the same logic (not to winterizing ) equally apply to a Swim Spa ? PS (sorry for my bad english, i am a frenchman)
Good afternoon, I wouldn't winterize a swim spa or hot tub because you really can't get all the water out of them. They're designed to continue to run all the time 24/7 and the better units are very energy efficient. When you shut them down for long periods of time they tend to have service issues as well. Good afternoon, depending on outside temperatures but usually yes you can because swim spas are a large body of water like a pool and it takes a fair amount of heat from the sun to heat it. They also have settings to try and keep them cooler like economy mode. Furthermore, some brands even sell chillers/heat pumps you can attach such as Hydropool to cool it. Hope this helps!

We followed the proper refill method by putting the hose in where the filter would normally sit. First time refill. We used our hot tub all week no problems. Today, it’s not working. The 2024 Envoy. Only two chairs will come on. When we tap jet one…nothing. First time owner of a hot tub, so we will be calling our dealer for service asap tomorrow. Hope it’s nothing serious. Our levels have been almost perfect sense we refilled it. So surprised when we got in tonight and it’s not working right.

Maax Spas owns Master Spas? I haven't seen that info anywhere else. I thought Master Spas was a privately owned company. On the Maax website, they only list Vita and American Whirlpool as their brands.
Brian, as I understand it I cant really buy a tub from you in Texas.....wondering if you can shine any light on whether an Aspen is worth the 10,000 price difference from the Chelsee? We have the Chelsea on hold, but the Aspen in the showroom is calling my name, but it is about $25K with all the extras (minus the sound system) and better financing.
Good afternoon, tough question! This comes down to what you value. The 880 series does have quite a few more features than the 780 series. The 780 series does have all the Sundance patents and everything they're known for. However, I love the 880s but it's a personal opinion. They're all well built spas and I think you would be happy with either. In your case you might make the decision on whether or not you need the extra space because the Aspen is significantly bigger. The value of the jet packs is not in their ability to be changed for each use! The value is in your initial set up. You can choose exactly how you want your hot tub to be configured.
Good afternoon, I would first start by moving the diverter valves to make sure it's not a setting problem. The diverter valves are the larger valves that move water from one side of the hot tub to the other. If this doesn't fix it then you really need a service technician. The technician should test the power coming off of the board to the motor that isn't working. If it has the correct power and it's not working then the motor/pump needs to be replaced. Please make sure it's not airlock. If the motor is half working and then shutting off, you could have airlock. If this is the case please let me know but this would only normally happen after a fresh fill or if the hot tub ran low on water. Hope this helps!

Good afternoon, sounds like your lcd display is out to me. I think you will need to replace the topside control to fix it. The board is possible but not probable if the hot tub is coming on and working without the display. Hope this helps!
