This is such an amazing idea. We bought a cameo 880 last year. I think you commented to someone else is this is only on the 2024s right now. I would love to know when it would be available for prior year 880s and what kind of cost. We live in AZ and were using the cameo 4 times a week or more then summer happened and it's just so hot here, it's hard to want to be out there.
Good afternoon, my guess is it won't be very long but it won't integrate with the topside control. You'll have to controller it from the chiller itself and unplug the heater. This is no big deal but worth notating. The cost for service and the unit will most likely will be around $2500. In my opinion, it's well worth it. Hope this helps!
@@josephgraham1065 Good evening, unfortunately it only works on the 2024 880’s and newer. However, I believe there will be an aftermarket option in the future that will work. Hope this helps!
Nice! Where can we find how to link it to the hot tub ? It nice to have this direct integration. Does it work only with clim8 or other brands as well ? Thanks from 🇨🇭
@@valentindproductions Good evening, it’s specific to certain balboa electronics. You could upgrade your electronics and it would work but it would be costly. I will launch a video on the plumbing soon. Hope this helps!
@@atlantahottubcenter oh yeah! It will be definitely helpful. Once we receive our spa around late summer, our plan is to install the heat pump on the opposite side of the front panel, so the heat pump lays under the opened cover. But as of today it is still a mystery to us to know whether we’ll have enough space to go through the entire spa with the plumbing. More efficient and more esthetic if doable And we were planning the buy a Poolex hp but after seeing your video explaining that 880 (Marin) are balboa inside, I’m rethinking twice.
@@valentindproductions Good afternoon, I'll put it in the link when I launch the plumbing video. You can always call me to if you need some guidance. However, I would use this chiller that integrates with it. Otherwise, you can have issues between the hot tub heating and the chiller. You can just unplug the heater but the integration does make it easier. Hope this helps!
