It's an eye opener to see those that aren't living the 'American Dream' but thankfully they all seen to be eating quite well. Hawaii appears to be one of the retreats for the globalists when they've destroyed the rest of us.
Im glad you mentioned that your title was a bit harsh but you certainly have a valid point in that there is a lot to be desired. There are "better" places around Oahu to enjoy for sure but the fact that most kf the residents are so genuinely friendly is what i love about Hawaii. I really wish the government would do a better job of taking care of the people but there wlaee so many dynamics at play with a small island, not much in rhe way of larger companies that can actually pay a higher wage, the fact that moat goods have to be imported, etc etc. that cause the coat of living to be so high. I wish the government could help the native population more, somehow. Its true of any natice population though, on these islands or on the mainland. Throughout the US the homeless situation is getting worse, obviously most in the higher cost of living cities. The reason are the quite often the same. Sometimes the homeless are able to work but will never bw able to earn enough to afford the rent. Some maybeant to move to a lower cost town but having the money to actually move, provide first and last month rent elsewhere is difficult to come by. Anyway, loke the others say, check out the other islands. They're great. For me, I o love to visit and help the local businesses, especially the small ones. Keep up the good content!
