I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and completed a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence certification to specialize and transition in a clinical setting. However, life decided to take me on another journey so I am currently working as a dialysis nurse in the United States of America. A little back story, I am a past student of the Browns Town Community College School of nursing in St. Ann Jamaica. I worked at the University Hospital of the West Indies in Kingston. Most of the videos created on this channel help to support and motivate my fellow nurses who relocated to the states like me. My started peeling on little places after 3 years and it was sealed going to go with acid stain did it in back yard 5 years ago and it has yet too have problems
Different field but same me train 2 traveling techs and they didn't perform up to my standards ( I didn't get paid extra either, but who am I 🤷🏿♀️). To me, meeting TAT is important ... 1 was slow stayed almost 2 hours past her shift every day she was there to get the work done but what company whats to pay OT consistently to a traveler thats already getting big bucks. The other one was always off wandering around somewhere and never finished what came in or at least attempt to. So even, though they were not "good" on my terms (but everyone else saw how they worked too) I never wanted to train again.
I ran across your channel searching for concrete staining. You two did a fantastic job. How is it holding up after over a year? I would imagine that there is some lightning of the deep blue color from the sun over this time. I have a floor in a steel barn that I'm thinking about going with the concrete stain. Thank you so much. We really appreciate it. Tomorrow I will go outside and do a short so you can see it. For the most part it is holding up pretty well with lightning noted mostly to the area we had less of the primer on
Trelawny is looking good. I have never driven this side en route to Christiana. I wouldn't drive in Jamaica. Don't argue over nonsense, beautiful people.
When I completed my training it was a 40hr per week (8hrs a day)for a week to complete online courses and then the rest was between 36 to 40 (12 to 14 hrs a day) on the unit.
Just watching this video had me going through so many emotions..nostalgia for one, the beauty of how we have grown to appreciate what we had home in Jamaica. As you say, back home it feels so authentic, you are more relaxed and then putting your grandpa to rest 😢...as I say, all sorts of emotions but nonetheess thank you for sharing.
