I appreciate that you try to find some harmonic/diatonic-ish structure in the microtonal landscape rather than this chromatic mess I hear from other artists.
Levi mind blowing video. Thanks for sharing and I did get the impresdion of Eastern music from it. I love your compositions by the way. You are able to make what normally sounds out of tune and dissonant accessible to me.
lol.. you.. that cello, your magic bass, etc. You've almost reached the limits of defined music. I love your natural dubstep style/sound... I've been curious, Did you make that bass?
@@JRam998 It's so neat isn't it, it's taking a couple weeks for me to stop hearing Microtonal music as just "out of tune" and trust me, it's worth it. As far as microtonal tunings go, 31's pretty normal sounding to me.
I have been seeing a bunch of shorts about Microtonal music. Most the stuff I hear sounds terrible, but your composition was amazing. Thank you for creating it and sharing it with all of us. Simply amazing.
It almost sounds like a neutral chord voiced in such a way that the major third is implied, like it tricks your ear with harmonica so that you infer the tone but it’s not actually there I have no idea what supermajor chords are but I’m going to go with that since, regardless of why, I do still hear a major third in there
@@LeviMcClainyes! ican heart it now, it's almost has that susy sound (almost), now iknow if ihear almost augmented then it's a 5 for future quizzes hhh , how do you name it though? Almostsus4llol😂
I think it’s neutral, however the reason it’s hard to say is because the 3rd to 5th interval is inversely proportional to the Root to 3rd. So flattening one of the stacked thirds Augments the other
