If I am not mistaken - and this was 40 years ago, I was 3 - the white building on the left side of the screen at 0:30 was once Miller's Automotive, briefly, in 1984. Jim and Mickey Prater were long-time residents of the town, and invited my grandparents (Grandma was Jim's younger sister) up to re-establish themselves. My grandparents gathered their kids and their sole grandchild and made the move, I believe in the summer of 1984. My grandfather and two uncles opened an auto repair shop, but unfortunately after the humid climate didn't agree with my grandmother, we packed back up and moved back to Texas that winter.
Right up there with my "UFO Invasion in Ore-Gone". These guys are actually Plebeians from a Galaxy far away. Though my July 4th post was actually a spoof, yours is real. I bought a locked mail box after seeing this. :) Then moved to Spook-Anne, WA - more grins.
The first car was bad, but I couldn't believe that second one. They was asking for it.. They were lucky it was you driving and not someone looking to find someone to collect money from. There is a lot of folks around here that would have hit them, than claim they were hurt.. Good job avoiding an idiot!!
Good thing you wasn't going any faster.. Looks like there was no stopping that fool! I thought the SUV driver in front of you was drunk, they were crossing the line.
Bought one of them cheap ones too. I like them and if you was in an accident it would be more then good enough quality as evidence. Nice looking town, loved the mountains in the back ground. Was surprised there was not more stop lights. Thanks for sharing, I grew up in the mountains and have lived on this flat desert land for 20 years, so I miss them..
That was awesome! It fell right where it was planned. That's always a good thing! That definitely took courage Beto and you did it! Stacey, thanks for capturing and displaying the great footage.
