i kinda have this small theory about the big three's themes (aka morrowind, oblivion, and skyrim). I think their lores are all talking about some sort of prophecies or anything similar. Like, look at this: -Morrowind : Tells us about an ancient prophecy of a reincarnated warrior who would unite the great houses, take down the tribunal, and fight Dagoth Ur for the people of Vvardenfell. -Oblivion : Tells us about Uriel VII's dreams. The leitmotif from "Nerevar Rising" is also there, but faster and more tense as if it's more like an incoming threat that happens in the story, which is the Septims' (excluding Martin) assassination by the Mythic Dawn and the Oblivion Crisis that happened after that. -Skyrim : Tells us about the return of Alduin the World-Eater. Both the Morrowind and Oblivion's version of "Nerevar Rising" leitmotif are there, each representing almost everything that happened in the story. The Morrowind's version of the leitmotif kinda represents the prophecy/legend of the Dragonborn, while the Oblivion's version kinda represents the threats that happened in the story, like the civil wars between the Empire and the Stormcloaks, and the return of dragons along with Alduin.
