Based in Florida, Bahamas and Wisconsin, we have some amazing fun adventures!
So often we don't have experiences in life because of the fear of what if. We want to overcome that fear and we are taking all of you on the journey with us!
Love GTC. It's our home away from home. Going again in Aug, too far away...lol Our dollar bill is at Blue Bee's. My husbands grandfather is from there and we are from the Keys. First thing we do after dropping off our stuff at the house is get 2 gallons of Goombay Smash. Hubby walks barefoot the whole time we are there and is in his swim trunks the whole time...lol All we take with us is a backpack for each of us.The last time we were there the water even got too warm to be in so we would get out and hop on the golf cart and get a pina colada and when that was done do it all over again. We love doing a lot of chatting with the locals while we are there and always look forward to seeing them again.
It’s possible to surf an iSUP but not in strong wind or short choppy conditions. When conditions are right, it’s a lot of fun. When conditions are bad it’s like skiing on ice.
Have you seen the Hurley Phatomsurf Opaque 9foot 4inch thick, designed by a surfer to surf & paddle tour a bit with. If so what do u think? I can't find any video reviews on that specific model & not of any of Hurleys other models are anything like it.
@@ZedNevada it looks pretty good but a little pricey, 4” thickness is comparable to a regular board, so thats pretty good, and it will help when it’s windy. Other than that, I can’t say much. The paddle is probably crap . A heavy paddle makes it so much harder to surf, possible yes but tiring and slow.
It would really be beneficial to viewers if you can make a video of the costs to renovate the house, and also you experiences with builders and contractors, good and bad. The more detailed the better. We all love stories! These are the questions and considerations (and worries) that those of us who are considering buying and building in Exuma. Thank you and best with the house!
Should definitely try a roller from headhunter. It’ll be a lot easier for you to pull the band due to the pre-tension. My go-to spear the past 5 years at Green Turtle!
How would you compare Florida to Wisconsin? In terms of the people, Traffic, things to do etc... I am planning on moving November next year and just wanted some more info to really lock in this decision. Thanks for the video.
Hello Connor! We really like the people in Florida but I’d have to say no place is like the Midwest when it comes to that hometown feel and everyone knows everyone. Traffic in Florida is like Chicago and Milwaukee 24/7 but also depends what area you are in. Drive defensively bc people drive like morons. As far as things to do, Florida is a no brainer. There is so much to do on a daily basis and year round! From the beach, to festivals, to live music, year round it’s just all together better. Wisconsin bases their daily life around alcohol and we didn’t feel that in Florida because there are so many outdoor activities you can do! What part of Florida are you headed to?
@@solkrush779 Aiming for somewhere like Lakeland hopefully! It is right in between from clearwater and Orlando so there should be plenty of stuff to do within a hour or so from me, thanks for the response.
Hiya I have the opportunity to buy a used 2020 fishpro from my dealers, it has 28 hrs on the clock but no IDF, is it worth paying extra for a 2023 model?
Good video. My wife and I just got back from a one week vacation staying in a cabin in Sevierville, TN. Great place to be. @2:06 a year later and gas prices are still high. Trying to kill the oil industry will do that... Hope you guys are doing well. Haven't seen a new Sol Krush video in 6 months.
Hey! The smokies are beautiful! We had to step away from making videos but hopefully getting back to it eventually. We miss all the adventures and videos
Have your dealer check to see if the Garmin is getting power, if it is but still not working then the Garmin is faulty (have your dealer order you a new one under warranty), if it’s not getting power then it’s the connection. This shouldn’t be an issue to diagnose or repair. I’m not a mechanic, but it’s also not rocket science.
Shanna was awesome @11:40! But I have to say the most impressive dive/kill of the day belongs to Chris @2:58 ! That takes guts to go digging under ledges for big fish!
I tried a SUP on the ocean and had a similar experience. Glad to see I was not the only one who struggled! Thanks for posting. It looks like you had fun.
Love GTC! I haven't been there post Dorian. Hubby has though. You hit all of our fave spots too. We love the Bluff House, Molly and the crew there are amazing and they have become sweet friends. Also, Too Shorty's, Sundowners, McIntosh Bakery..... now I'm longing to go back.
