I am doing this on my 91. I am also going to remove the outer door handles and scuff and paint them black. I am taking all of the chrome or shiny stuff off and doing everything 1 color. I like it better, like a 90's sport truck should look.
I have a vacuum issue behind my plenum that I think may be a small clear plastic box . I'm like you in not wanting to pull my plenum. Trying to find out more info on the small clear box if anyone can help. I'm having unstable idle .
I have a problem with my 93 f 150. On a cold start it starts right up. I leave it running and after 10 minutes or so battery gauge starts sputtering and eventually the truck turns off. Or when I'm driving around, come to a stop & I put the gear from "Drive" to "Park" it does the same thing,, battery gauge starts sputtering and turns off. What could it be?
Thats hard to say, the volts may be doing that because the truck idle is getting ruff before it cuts off, I would start looking for vacuum leaks, these trucks are famous for vacuum leaks.
That's called Liquid Electrical Tape, you can get it at your local parts store, Just be careful with it so you don't get it inside the Vacuum line and clog it, Thanks Ed
Almost sounds like a fuel problem check the pressure regulator the filter or pull the pump out and check the sock filter on the pump might have trash in it restricting the fuel flow
I wish I could say yes, but No, still hesitates and stumble sometime while driving, I think I'm going to get a Motorcraft distributor and give that a try, the after market one I got was not well made and may be the issue, but when I do I'll post a video on it, there has to be an answer, the rest of the truck mechanicaly is now like a new truck, I just cant beet this damn hesitation, Thanks for asking
How to you install the hood support springs (coils)? I broke my originals and I need new ones. Do they bolt right on or do I need to do something to tighten them after installation? If so, how does that work?
That repair was done long before I put a light in it, and I was replacing the fender so it just made it easier as I was going to have to take the fender off anyway

On some cars with drive by wire... Cruse control is nothing but reprograming modules and adding buttons to an already in place wire harness. Same thing adding other options on newer cars like fog lamps. Many times the wire harness are the same with unused connectors hidden.
I just finished putting new bearings, races, and rotors on the truck, also replaced the ball joints, and axle pivot bushings, kicked my butt. I never have tried the cruise control on my truck lol. I should check that out.
So you didn't finish sound deadening the floor before you put the carpet in the seats back what that means when people do that it means they'll never finish it the sound deadening should have been finished before carpet and seat went back in
Actually it may not have been in there, but my buddy Paul and I sound deadened that whole truck, roof, doors, back wall and the whole floor, and you are right, if I hadn't I most likely wouldn't have finished it, I don't think I did a video on that, but I assure you, its got killmat or whatever I used everyware. That's an easy way to make your truck look better, Small yes but big in that when they look like crap your eyes go right to them, after a paint job they disappear again like they should, and most of us have a can of Black paint setting around, so it's basically free. Hey thanks for the comment
No I don't, it was an aftermarket thing anyway, not original, but it should be easy to find in a junkyard, just remember to check in the Rangers as well, the same shift knob will be on them
Love what you did with the turn signal switch! Have you considered a tilt column? I just installed one on my Ranger and it’s made things so much more convenient, it’s actually much easier than you’d expect too. And whoever originally installed that aftermarket radio did a really crappy job!
It's on the list, I added Power windows, seats, locks, carpet a wireless phone charger android auto, I plan to add everything you could have got on one of these and some stuff you couldn't, like the wireless Phone charger and double din head unit, coming up, push button start and auto lock and unlock, but it takes time.
I have an entire set of Moog parts waiting to rebuild the front end. This came at a good time! Edit: I went out and looked at my sleeves. Sure enough, one was in a plastic bag all nice and powder coated and the other had no bag and different nuts on the bolts. I ordered my parts from Amazon. I wish I had opened it and checked it right away.
Good deal, I only use MOOG on those parts, I have used ones from the local parts stores and they where out fast, it worth going with the MOOG and Temkin
