go on. if you haven't hit the jackpot and work doing something you love the rat race is soul destroying, not many people are fulfilled being a cog in an other mans machine. takes bravery to go against the Hurd.
Theres nothing wrong with a mother in a van with her son they could travel all the time innstead of being cooked up in one place and paying so many bills so enjoy😊
great content. You can have both a home and adventures, it's just getting the balance. I'm currently looking for a van to convert and I have a house. I take off as much as I can camping with my dog, but I think a 'mobile home' would suit my needs better. Putting up and taking down the tent can be a pain, especially in bad weather. With a van, rock up and have a cuppa, sorted.
Watched many van life’s, think this is my favourite, she’s 95% free from societies mind numbing rules, would like to here about the people that pushed her from their little social groups, humans are very tribal and lots are odd towards others that don’t conform. Will definitely follow her social media. Only seen one other like this which was a young lad Dorset way who built a few vans on a budget.
I'd love to live like that. My ancestors lived in horsedrawn carriages. No rent no must-do's. Lattjo dives! And to care about what other ppl think is pointless. That I realized in my twenties. Now I'm 53.
I’m heading this direction, I’m a former combat medic that also served in Ukraine for 2.5. Years. I would like to teach people self application medical whilst on the road incase they suffer any injuries. This is my lifestyle of the future.
Unless the laws have changed in recent years, you didn't need anything other than a standard licence to drive a 7.5 ton vehicle. Anything larger, yes, but 7.5 tons was the limit for a normal driving licence. That was the case in the early 2000s, as I used to work for TLS vehicle rentals, and routinely drove 7.5 ton tippers, flatbeds, box vans (like this one) and 12 seater minibuses.
I get this guy, I’m a former combat medic and looking to get into this lifestyle just to get space. I will be working but the thought of spending thousands of pounds on housing is something I cannot stand the thought off.
