Great hit! I am building mech team at the moment. Could you please point out priority development for the abilities? I know Rho passive should be first, and then Tans passive afterward, but I am not sure what to develop next.
Yeah, I don't have too many videos of him myself, as I dropped him to go all in on Admech, but I can get some more runs from my guildmates if you're interested. Just let me know and I'll see what I can do.
@@Painhawk that would be amazing if possible. I think there's a niche in the content creator market for information on building teams that might no longer be meta. The average player such as myself is never going to be able to evolve with the meta so seeing how other teams (that we might only just be unlocking) work would be very helpful. I'm pretty happy with the prospect of doing 'just 600k' as they say on discord haha
@@rakshasavishra It matters a lot against this guy. If you check his abilities, they all do physical damage, but the values are very high. Thus, to take as little damage as possible you need to boost your armor. Pure armor items are superior against screamer and Tan active is also important for Actus to be able to take hits from him.
@@Painhawk Nice, but sadly I don't even have a single leggo armor booster and Tan's passive is stucked at 35 but I'll manage one day when sp decides to release more onslaught levels :D
@@rakshasavishra Yeah, L5 screamer isn't easy, or probably not even doable, with Admech when they aren't close to maxed. You should be far along before we face the next one though. L1-L3 is much easier and should be doable with what you have now.
Hey! No, he doesn't and it's not based on my opinion :) Calgar passive only buffs Rho's attack stat, but Rho does not use his attack stat when he attacks as a result of a mechanical character or summon attacking the target. He uses his passive, which is not buffed by Calgar. It is however buffed by Doom.
@Painhawk Thank you for your reply! That makes senses thank you, I ask because I have Calgar but I don't have Revas or Sho'syl so I'm not sure if it's worth it to build up the Rho-bros.
@@KKeef-lm5jtYou can in theory use any mechanical unit with them. Aleph is by far the best on Morty. Sho is the best on screamer. Revas the best on Tyrant. That doesn’t mean you can’t use the same guy on all of them. Even Boss Gulg would do alright as he triggers Rho twice every turn. The problem with the Rhobros is the extremely high resource investment needed, especially legendary imperial badges. By the time you’re done with them, you have probably been able to build one or more of the Xenos as well.
@Painhawk That's good too know, I have imospek and Aleph at D1 4 upgrades. I appreciate the information, I'll be upgrading them slowly in the background from now on :)
I find the drones Sho summons to be too distraction heavy and flimsy compared to the Anuphet summons - plus when you're running the Aleph summons you can quickly reach the peak 6 summons and even with the add spawns distracting 2-3 of them you'll still be getting those additional hits from the other 3-4.
My guys are as follows: Rho: D3 50/50 Tan: D2+5 44/49 (active doesn't need to be this high) Actus: D2+4 48/41 (abilities doesn't need to be this high for L2) Sho: D3 50/50 (abilities definitively doesn't need to be this high, he provides hits for Rho anyway) Eldryon: D3 X/50 As long as your three tankers can tank his whirlwind attack, your ability levels, except for Rho and Eldryon passive can be almost whatever and do good damage. However, I think Tan passive needs to be lvl 47 or 48 for the skitarii to survive the initial ranged attack. If they don't your damage is set back a turn, but you'll still do good. I'll upload a right spawn video when I get one as well.
Yes, the fight can be done and probably get more damage with Ahriman, but he will need his abilities very high and ideally he needs to recharge his active by killing a guardsman. I don’t have Ahriman though, so can’t tell you exactly how to do it unfortunately, but I’ve seen it done.
Yes you can, but it would be a lot worse for two reasons: 1. More screamers means Dorn will definitely OW killing most of them along with maybe some characters. 2. Yaz could not be used to double the damage of Neurothrope for a turn after 15 stacks of neuroparasites have been added to Dorn
Dude has the audacity to upload a Rogal Dorn raid, meanwhile Rogal Dorn doesnt overwatch 🤣🤣🤣🤣 one overwatch and your raid would have closed on 20k damage
@@Bassilios-961 Dorn actually has very few luck based mechanics. The only rng is if what way he turns if you have the same number of characters that would end up being run over. The only mechanic for if he does OW or not is if there are two or more targets inside the OW arc after he has moved. As you can see in my run there are always only 1 target (character or summon) within the arc he would have created if he did OW. This is very important. I can't speak for what you did or didn't do in your run, by every single move is important. One hex wrong in one location and yes, he will OW you. If you did 100 % the same thing and got a different result, it is because the screamer ai has been changed by SP since I released this video. They no longer seem to be as interested in killing guardmen, but rather goes for the tank. Again, if this results in two or more targets for Gunners Kill on Sight (OW), he will always use that. There is no luck.
They all have lvl 50 abilites for what matters (Eldy/Ra/Revas/Calgar/DS lvl 50 passive, Revas lvl 50 active) and I think they were all D2 for this video. Ra might have been D3.
He is D2 with a health upgrade. Your D1 will probably die, I wouldn't advice doing it. He can however be placed one hex south and not attack that turn, Morty will still attack Aleph and the scarabs, but will kill a scarab base or Aleph, so you will lose some assets. It will still work, but slightly less output.
Yeah, I had to onslaught Actus and Tan from epic 2* since I thought they were crap. And they are. Just not with Rho. Rho I got to 3* epic and then paid for his quest. So worth it.
Would Volk be a better option than Thad? I only ask because if he's next to Abraxas he would both suppress and use psychic damage so it would be a double buff, or does Thads raw damage just make him more valuable?
Volk is problematic because of move 2 and he’s not very consistent. I’m sure it’s possible to use him, but I think you’d struggle to maneuver and you don’t want to clump up against Morty, which is what you’d have to do to benefit from Abraxas’s passive. In addition, you wouldn’t get the benefit of Volk’s full number of shots due to Morty’s ability. Noble is just a beast, both in terms of number of attacks (perfect number for Morty) and his high base damage.
@Painhawk thanks for the response, after I commented I did think his movement is worse and he'll have to move a lot so he won't get the buff he gets for standing still, I'm just bored of the same old characters, so I'm almost trying to shoehorn people in lol
Hi Painhawk! Any advice on whether Anuphet is a good character in any guild raids? I’ve neglected him massively and I’m curious if he’s good for Screamer Killer because of passive energy damage for a Rho team
Short answer is no. He is possible to use now due to Rho, but still not good. His summons take too long to charge and they don’t attack the turn they are summoned. Tan Gida with Actus summon 2 dudes per turn and then from T3 you change Tan active so that you reactivate the summons. Then Actus reactivates Tan which again activates summons. It’s just massively better.
Not sure, I’m in general always saving books. I only use them in bulk when I commit to a build. A “better question” is how long does it take to get almost 200 legendary badges? 😝
You will at least struggle if Abraxas doesn’t survive the first wind attack. It’s an option to have him a step behind Aleph on T2 so he can’t be hit if you can’t survive the wind attack though.
How does one guarantee Szarekh gets off his podium? I’m not anywhere close to legendary and my guild just about finishes the season having almost cleared the first epic boss because there’s only 3 of us who do the heavy lifting. But he’s the boss we struggle the most with. If he doesn’t come down my damage output is more than halved. I’ve seen advice like “put as many characters on wire as possible” It doesn’t work. He hasn’t come down for like a month now
There is no guarantee unfortunately. Baiting with a fairly weak character seems to shift the odds in your favor, but then you are stuck with something not great most of the time. I use my Revas drones, but sometimes he just sits up there and you have to plan for it. The team I'm running here has the downside that if Szarekh stays up, Revas' drones usually clog up the stairs so Sza can't come down T2 either, but your ideal goal is to make him come down T2 to mitigate damage loss. You do this by killing at least 2 deathmarks (3 is better) and leaving the stairs clear. When there are few deathmarks, Sza will not use his ability to reactivate them, but will rather attack.
I’ve never understood why Vindicta isn’t top tier against Mortarion. Has anyone ever calculated the passive flame damage each turn? Yes she will kill the scarabs but maybe a non summoner team could work with Vindicta behind a big target character
You mean Vindicta’s passive ability or flames being on the ground? The first does nothing. Mortarion is one target. SP has clarified that Vindicta isn’t hitting 8 hexes separately. Flames on the ground does nothing because armor is too high.
