Paul Roma was a total a** for “going into business for himself” in his match against Alex Wright at Superbrawl 5. Alex Wright was a rookie, still learning to the business, and he counted on Roma to work professionally. Worse yet, after Roma was fired for screwing up his match a Superbrawl, Wright had to suffer through 5 more matches with Roma, where he could have been badly injured by an angry or indifferent Roma.
When he pulled his hat down over his eyebrows, he lost any respect he ever had. Guys who wear backwards hats and pull it down over their eyebrows are the biggest dbags in existence.
It’s a lot of back and forth on Paul Roma being a horseman. I get WCW didn’t really have a lot of options it’s not like Vader or Alex Wright could be a horseman 😂
Roma does make me laugh..Altho I'm not sure he'd laugh when seeing when I was laughing... He was a good wrestler for sure, but he's not exactly Buff bagwell when comparing the two regarding the ladies attention. He does contradict himself a little when talking about homework ..
so my takeaways Paul Roma was keyed in on personnel decisions? Ric Flair (1000x heavyweight champ) was jealous of no-time champion (until he joined the horseman) Paul Roma?
Paul admits that he didn't bother learning anything about the Four Fucking Horsemen, but when Ole said he wasn't that familiar with Paul's work, Roma flips a fucking gasket. Unbelievable.
This guy just moved past Honky, Bischoff, AND Nash as number one asshole interview. I would say he seems like he took too many chair shots but I don’t remember Roma ever causing the kind of excitement that would warrant a chair shot. Bum.
