Coppell TV Repair's video channel at RU-vid serves two main purposes: to prove our customers (and potential customers) that the boards we process are indeed functional and to educate general public about certain DIY troubleshooting techniques and repairs of LCD, LED, OLED and plasma TVs.
We do not make a video of every board we repair - only certain ones - and we do not aim to be an all-around education solution either.
We try to organize videos so that one can find the educational ones more easily; we'll either put them in a separate group (if RU-vid allows that) or just have a keyword such as "HOWTO" or "how to" in the title.
Then again we often include useful information when displaying a board's functionality so it probably works well to check everything that is related.
They just tried to buy a laptop I had for sale. Noticed there are 77,300 "reviews" on their profile - almost all of which are duplicates and fake. The real ones sprinkled in talk about them being scammers. Account has been active since 2012... crazy eBay hasn't taken their account down yet.

I don’t think so you could probably the TV hard drive inside out two movie if you boot up TV then you can inside out two. I found the hard drive the RAM chips means beeping as your own TV y-main X-men logic plasma display. There is a small difference between TV inside cover off gonna be the best.
I didn’t know the TV inside of hard drive and y-main logic x-men logic. I really like this ideas you could pulling the RAM power supply from resource storage the on TV there’s no hard drive on the hard drive.
hi, can you give me some tip or shear a link of some video on my samsong g5 that keeps torn off almost eavry 10m for like 30sec and back on agien ? i tried a lot of things olrady, I used other cables. display port and HDMI. I used a different power cable. I reset the screen settings and also tested with different heart frequencies and reaction and boost functions, and no defrent

Hello! I have a Vizio M60-C3, and everything works, EXCEPT, there is no light coming thru the display. I have sound, there is even a picture, but no light whatsoever. I used a small flash light and can see an image.. My question is, what would I need to replace to remedy this problem? The LED's themselves, or the LED driver/power board? No way of knowing from here if your LEDs or the LED driver is bad. More often than not is the LEDs, but I've seen the LED driver go bad sometimes too. It should be fairly cheap on ebay so you may want to replace it as means of elimination. or go for a new TV altogether - replacing the LEDd is a PiTA and first time users often mess it up.
My same TV just had this exact problem, would not power on. I unplugged the wire from the TV to the brick and cleaned ends with dry Q-Tip and blow out the plugs. Now works perfectly.
Great video. I have the same problem, power light comes on for a few seconds, then fades away. I have 35v 470uf capacitors in my 60" Vizio. They are not bulged. Should I replace them? There are 2 kinds of capacitors in the same area that look the same but don't have capacitor numbers on them. What's my next step? Thanks
99% of the time when capacitors are bad it is visible and easy to tell. Therefore in your case it is more likely the problem is in the main board. All capacitors have values written on them, the ones you refer to are probably just facing down, berried in the silicone. But it doesn't matter if they are not bulging.

@@coppelltvrepair I'm giving up. I didn't have sound or video so I baked the main board in the oven. Now I have great sound and a picture with many vert. and horz. lines. Too many problems. I'm saving the speakers and the rest in the trash. Thanks for your videos and info.

Hey! I've got an issue with the screen connectors which is creating a vertical line near the centre, pressing it makes the line more noticable and creates an extra one next to it. Think its a loose or dirty connection, do you happen to know how best to disassemble for a repair? Checking google for guides lol
I repaired one of these boards and I get all of the voltages, but when I install it on the tv it just clicks on and off. I then installed it into a known working set and it does the same thing. Do you have any ideas on what is wrong?
No, but I have seen that happen many times to know what you need to do. First rule out shorted sustain boards, then test the power board output voltages under load to see if load causes the shutdown and restart.
@@coppelltvrepair Thanks I suspect components around IC 9101 faulty, or the chip itself cos im not reading 17V (Vcc) on diode D9103 (cathode) on the primary transformer side So the circuit isnt oscillating, would you know the chip reference number thanks
@@zbyszekskibinski You see, we offer repairs for 100+ different boards and anyone having an issue with their own board assumes we can instantly pick up conversation and get component level references for their particular board. This is not how the business works and I seriously doubt anybody could carry a conversation at the level you expect without making an effort to look up notes, custom reverse-engineered schematics or at the very least another board. And since we repair hundreds of different boards and have over 1000 videos in the channel there's always people asking similar questions for all kinds of boards. I hope you can see how it is not only financially meaningless, but flat out impossible to have that casual conversation about board specifics.
@@coppelltvrepair Thanks but I have just fixed mine. I had SR1007 faulty and smd resistor 1R. The diode had a short under voltage in circuit cos it read good with multimeter on resistance check. Prior to that I had managed to download the circuits from Elektrotanya, take care

Hi i got Plasma Samsung PS-50Q91H and i need to repair Ymain LJ41-05120A , but those component are burn and i can not identify to replace those part , and the part are blue capacitor and the location are C5105 and C5106 , and one more thing , i also need to replace Zener Diode on location ZD5502 and the part are BZV55C because mine is short but i don't know the voltage because those parts are release with many type of voltage. Hi, I have a 50 inch Hisense Android tv, 50H8G, board number 261423, 261424, RSAG7.820.9615/ROH and I was wondering if there was a bios chip on it. If not, what component on the board does the firmware write to. If it wrote to an Ic chip then I could unbrick my TV and write directly to the IC. My TV has a white light of death after an update and I tried all fixes and nothing works. Thanks
I have same model TV and I looked inside and checked voltages on all the capacitors mentioned and conductivity with DMM and saw 0V on only one capacitor C214 which positive pin goes to 12V T CON voltage pin (pin 14) on one of the connectors going to main board. All the others measure 12-26V. But also I measured capacitance with DMM on the same capacitor and it shows 1526microF which I believe is good but I am not sure if I can rely on measurement of capacitance made on the board. What is this? Is this a problem with capacitor or TCON board? Can you please help?
I will not be able to help you with that over Internet, sorry. What you describe can be simply because the main board did not tell the power supply to release the T-CON power yet...many power boards have a pin that activates the T-CON power. This is usually to suppress the effect of the display "coming up" or "fading down" at startup or/and shutdown.
Hi i have one of this model led bliks 3 times then off.All the voltages are the 33.5 12 abd 24 even the pwr one 3.3 voltage yet it doesnt come on any ideas??

@@grilledchickenwrap My advice is to look as many “How to test” and/or “How to diagnose” and/or “How to repair” videos about TV power supply boards - up to the point where you can identify yours and apply the patterns learned to it in an attempt to isolate the failed section. Then watch videos on how to test/troubleshoot particular circuits and…you are likely to arrive at the destination. If I tell you more it will be like enabling your brain to be lazy and receive solutions instead of working to get them.
That's a tough one. I am sure there are many videos on how to take off snap-on back covers. I also just realized at the beginning of this video I talk about just that.

I have a pn64d7000 and it has this power supply. I recently bought a main board because my tv would not turn on due to a bad ic chip. I just installed it, but now the TV only turns on for roughly 1 minute and 15 seconds and then turns off and turns back on. It just keeps doing that. Any ideas what I should do?
My advice is to return the replacement board to wherever you ordered it from for a refund and send your original board to us or another vendor with publicly proven record of repairing them with high success rate at reasonable price. Good luck!
Yes keep up the tv videos! I have a dead Vizio D58u-D3. No light, sound, picture. With TV plugged in, listed Voltages (+16VS) are not there. AC-DET not there, at the 15 pin connector. However, when I disconnected the main board from the power supply board, then I have proper, steady voltages. I came to realize the voltage was there originally but was quickly fading to zero by the time I hooked up my meter. That voltage should just be steady with the TV plugged in, correct?
Yes they should. What you describe is either power board failure manifesting itself in inability to hold load or main board shortage that just overloads or even flat out shuts the power board, effectively having the same effect as in the first case. In my experience the later is much more common than the former.
At 2:14, when you say "cut this track" where exactly are you pointing at? Do you mean the track before the circle ground? or do you mean the track between the solid circle and the smaller circle with the hole in it? or does it even matter. Thank you
My Monitor is the LC49G95TSSNXZA it Started a year ago, after turning the PC on it would just flash but no screen, menu or anything. after booting I swapped cables from DP to HDMI and I got it back running, it got worse every time and it took longer to get the screen or menu to show. so I left it running for 6 months straight, screensaver only. I had no problems. I had to turn it off last week since I was cleaning my water cooled Rig, I never got it back running. Any Ideas? Logic Board or the Main Board?
