the first 5 zones of superstars felt like the classic sonic experience i knew and love but the rest of the game is like a complete fever dream, a rollercoaster of emotions. this song and the bait and switch that leads to it elevates that.
I got superstars for my xbox when it forst came out and it took me forever to beat that boss but then i got a ps5 and my brother got it for his birthday and i did the final boss for him and beat the final boss first try

You have no idea how hype i was doing this boss, because when the game came out, i saw Final Fantasy Sonic X trending on twitter but never clicked it, only to see this fight. The mixture of realization and adrenaline could've KILLED me.
