Probably the most unique use of a relay race to Eggman. This ain't always apparent in a Sonic game, but Amy's part goes absoutely CRAZY, especially at 0:57 and onwards. Might not be a final battle in a traditional sense, but this may be one of my favorites. Reminds me of Super Mario 3D Land's final battle with how epic it was.
@@MrTeeps ah. i thought since a lot of people would watch playthroughs because apple and stuff. if that’s how it lined up, yeah it’s just pure coincidence
@TheFlipleerr Nah, it's all good. I just happen to be that minor demographic who actually has apple Arcade (actually belongs to a sibling if I'm being honest). All things considered while the game ain't all that long, it's pretty fun.
When I first opened this I was saying to myself: please be a badass song that gives some scary vibe or a sense of finality, this is literally that (minus the scary part)
When I checked out how the final boss would be like in this game (funnily enough, it was the 1st SDT boss battle I actually watched/looked for once it released), I was kinda surprised that no in-game OST uploads were around in RU-vid, until now! Glad to see this in my recommended; I first heard (pun partly intended) of this channel when Sonic Frontiers' initially released a little over a year ago (in 11/2022). Anyway, now some comments on the theme itself. Overall, it's pretty decent. Like a fellow commenter said here, 0:57 onwards is quite a highlight. However, I would('ve) really appreciate(d) if the composer added the Big Arms motif (from S3&K) throughout this theme, especially during the hard rock (metal?) section after 0:57. Since this theme and Big Arms are in the same key of E minor, it would've fit PERFECTLY! Besides that, and me wanting a slightly more compelling melody, this theme is well-rounded; a well- boss theme for a (currently) mobile game.
I was SHOCKED when I got to this. This stage and the opening theme feels like it was where ALL the audio budget went, and with all the other music and sounds they were like "eh let the interns do it. All the in-game voices are horribly irritating and they can only be turned off by muting the sound effects too? Rouge sounds like she's getting taken to town when she gets a red ring? Who cares fuckin ship it"
@@maryafantalia8614 admittedly I didn't pay attention to that single title among the whole group of games mentioned, and I agree with you, but there's no such thing as a wrong opinion
We got a nightmare sonic, we should have got a dream sonic kind of an orangy supersonic or maybe cream coloured to match the fwct that this is filtered through creams dreams
@@stevenshockley4237 It's precisely because I heard it if I say that. How could you so arrogant and convinced you're right while you say bullshits just now? This music is awesome, don't play dumb. When you start complaining about music in Sonic games, you're less than hopeless.
Low budget? This game? The game is actually surprisingly good for a mobile game to the point I’m surprised its not a console game. Its short, but they really set the quality high. Gameplay is really good, selectable characters instead of just Sonic, soundtracks is good, while the final boss isnt much of a final boss fight, its really impressive how we get to see Eggman actually fighting instead of using his machine. I very much doubt its low budget, only thing is gameplay length.
@@nazomius7033 Of a mobile? That's your own fault my guy lol not the game, don't set your expectations through the roof for a mobile game as good as it is. There aren't any stages harder than it so you can stop with that.
Both matter you little punk@@nazomius7033 Neither are amazing in this game so quit it. Have you even played it? I have. Honestly gameplay wise it's decent but ultimately it is a mobile game. A good mobile game but a mobile game, and it is overly simplified in gameplay. It is also not flawless like some people are saying.
