is there anyway you can use WordPress form on my website to half customer answer, questionnaires and sign and that turns into a PDF? If not, what is the work around ?
Conditional based formula are also available in other tabs: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JzwIRxAQGCIstW_a32D1YzeJtDbtS5D4VxkTXxYkZwY/edit?usp=sharing Remember the cell needs to be blank and then change to a value for the formula to work :)
Have you figured this out yet? This is exactly what I'm trying to do. I have a solution that submits the entire form, but I have other sections that I wish for the user to fill out before submitting the entire form.
There are lots of options. You could set up the product prices in a separate tab in the sheet and then use a =vlookup() to reference them. Feel free to book in a time with us to discuss: calendly.com/portant/customersuccess Cheers, James
Hi! I've utilized this formula and it works. However, whenever I go back into the sheet, the timestamp updates to the latest date that the file was accessed. Is there a solution for this? Thanks in advance!
I think something might be refreshing the cells that the timestamp formula is checking. (essentially making the cells go blank and then insert data again) Do you think this could be the case?
If a form has multiple different “incidents” each with different types of information needed, would it create a new form based on the information selected?
Hello there! You can create a form that has different sections that are displayed based on answers in the form: support.google.com/docs/answer/141062?hl=en-GB Please give me a shout if you have any questions. Cheers, James
I REALLY appreciate that this video is 1 minute long. This wasted NONE of my time. Other people making these types of videos would have made it 8 minutes long. Cheers!
Hello! No, they don't need to have a gmail account. Invoices can be sent to anyone with a valid email address. Please let me know if I can help with anything else. Cheers, James
We don't control the Google Sheets product, but we do give it super powers. If cost is an issue, you might want to try our Add-on: gsuite.google.com/marketplace/app/portant_data_sourcer/1016888648275
This video is unsavable. :( My ADD brain will never see it again. This is often because it is presaved in the presenting to your video production on RU-vid settings you choose for your video is set to: Made for Children. I've often wondered if it's because it;s saved as Educational. I cannot save most of the good homeschool videos for my children and RU-vid hasn't listened to me about the problem...but (siderant:) continues to push this BS unhealthy Crap to the kids instead. Back to point: Your videos are good; fix the setting so we can remember. Thanks.
@@portant Hey, question... do you know how to make it so that the date will also change after the cell changes a second time? Cause it only works when the cell is blank and then it changes but if in the future it changes again it's not saving the new date. Thanks!!!!
@@idigdeepyoutube It's in the last tab of the Google sheet: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JzwIRxAQGCIstW_a32D1YzeJtDbtS5D4VxkTXxYkZwY/edit#gid=846366950
Hey there! This is so helpful. I am having one issue though....in the very first cell I put the formula in, it always comes back with "December". It doesn't matter the month, it is always December. Any thoughts on how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance!!
Hey there, the cell the formula is referencing needs to be blank first and then contain some information. Please try this and let me know how you get on. Cheers, James
this is EXACTLY what I've been wanting to do; however, I have TWO parameters. How can I create a prefill link for both so that when I pass the cell value it populates both fields in the Google Form?
You can create the prefilled link for two questions (using the method in the video) and then use a formula to concatenate all answers together, like this: =CONCATENATE("docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdnUyN6NKKgxCTP6lbTX3sPFj8ndhmp27WFGEC3ZBCwmTh-ew/viewform?usp=pp_url&entry.631548922=",A2,"&entry.862686484=",B2,"&entry.862686484=",C2)
Hello! This was super clear, thank you. Is there a way to make a link point to the same pre-filled form? I.e. clicking the same link a second time will open the same specific response, rather than generating a new response? Thanks!
Sure thing, you can turn on a setting to enable you to edit Google Form responses after they've been submitted. Here is a guide to show you how: support.google.com/docs/answer/2839588?hl=en#zippy=%2Callow-people-to-edit-responses
