Just thought of this kind of idea to help my wife business 2 days ago, and today do some googling and found you. Just want to express my gratitude to your effort and kindness helping out small business like us. Tq so much. May God bless you. ❤❤❤
There are lots of options. You could set up the product prices in a separate tab in the sheet and then use a =vlookup() to reference them. Feel free to book in a time with us to discuss: calendly.com/portant/customersuccess Cheers, James
Funny I went to Dunmore High School, and My friend Doug owns the Dunder Mifflin building which is Penn Paper. I will test this out and probably send the invoice to my email, then review invoice and foward the invoice to the reccipient. Good job, I will smash the thumbs up button.
Haha! That's amazing! If you want to review the invoice before it sends, we have a review block which can hold them before sending. Here is a video with more detail: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q-aATNuVIUU.html Please give me a shout if you have any questions.
How would you recommend performing that aggregation on "Tax" and "Total" columns? I'm trying to setup a QUERY in my sheet to do this but not having much luck..
Hey Doug, I would use a sum if and base it on the invoice number (or similar) e.g. =SUMIF(A1:A10,*Invoice number cell*,B1:B10) Then you need to place this tag outside the table. Maybe use column formatting to align it (Format > Columns) Cheers, James
I would like to ask you about my idea, if Portant could help me with that, I definitely would like to sign up. So I'd like to make Google Form payable with adds-on. Then when people pay for my things that will be add to the Google spreadsheet.. so for this I'd like to send the invoices and the links to the downloads. So what do you think, can I make it this way? Thank you
Hi there, Yes, this is possible using our Auto-create feature. Auto-create enables workflows to be started any time a new row is entered in a spreadsheet or any time a form response is submitted. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers, James
Hello! No, they don't need to have a gmail account. Invoices can be sent to anyone with a valid email address. Please let me know if I can help with anything else. Cheers, James
The groping part doest seem to make sence. I duplicated what was done on this video and it still made a bunch of individual invoices when I want 1 invoice only.
Hey Apex, you need to make sure you have a grouping field that is the same on all rows of your spreadsheet you need to combine into one invoice. Hit me up on james@portant.co and I’ll help set it up 🙌
@@portant Hi James, yup figured it out. We were chatting through the chat in Portant. I am so impressed with the customer service and the software alone! Thank you so much!!!!
It could be that you are using a docx (Microsoft Word) document instead of a Google Doc. Please try converting the document to a Google Doc and trying again. If this doesn't work, please send me an email (james@portant.co) and I'll get it sorted for you. Cheers, James
We don't control the Google Sheets product, but we do give it super powers. If cost is an issue, you might want to try our Add-on: gsuite.google.com/marketplace/app/portant_data_sourcer/1016888648275
This video is unsavable. :( My ADD brain will never see it again. This is often because it is presaved in the presenting to your video production on RU-vid settings you choose for your video is set to: Made for Children. I've often wondered if it's because it;s saved as Educational. I cannot save most of the good homeschool videos for my children and RU-vid hasn't listened to me about the problem...but (siderant:) continues to push this BS unhealthy Crap to the kids instead. Back to point: Your videos are good; fix the setting so we can remember. Thanks.
