I remember many moons ago, joining my local drama group here in the UK and my very first main show that I did with the group was the Mikado. It was great.
An audio dub button is very useful because you can actually plug in a cassette recorder into the audio in socket at the back of the video and you can add music to your pictures, but if this was a stereo VHS recorder you could actually keep both the additional source like music and the original soundtrack.
I remember seeing this when I played back my recording of the programme - I was at work during the eclipse itself. I had to play it several times to decide that he really *had* said "rubbing each other down there" followed by "came in his shorts".
We have some of these old ones in work from the 60s they are still going strong. But have low pressure fills so can take up to 5 mins for it to fill completely. When I was kid in the 80/90s every pub and school had this type of toilet 😂
Mate, its not so much the sunroof that leaks on these.. the sunroof has water drainage pipes which do run down the pillers and into the seals. However the leak from the roof is more often than not from the radio aerial, those where poor design
Thank you very much for all of this-it is so 10 out of 10 of course so then too! Very nice to see the old BBC1 dots with the ABBA medley and the other music then too. Well done of course so too!
There was a female announcer in that clip - not sure of her name - she often played pop records in the gaps between schools programmes - fancied her chances at being a DJ!
These videos are special to me, they were top of the line in their day, and my dad worked for radio rentals when these were new as an engineer, he even went on the training course for these in 1981!
My father recently showed me his, and I'm determined to get it working again, but I'm having problems taking it apart, do you recall how to properly disassemble and reassemble this Tape Recorder?
My grandfather had an Austin 12, I think it was, during the 20s & 30s, and they would go down to St Ives, Cornwall for the annual holiday. 5 of them in the car including his mother. Can't imagine how long the journey took! A devoted Austin man
Do you have a full copy of this production? I have been trying to get hold of a copy for my grandmother as we watched this one when with her when we were little and it doesn't seem to exist anymore
I would definetly prefer this than the sds and tbh the pat we know is gone they changed him badly, they made pp into a more childish way ik its genre is for children but unlike in the 1st and 2nd series the stories are more adult like concept srsly the soundtrack of this show is way way better
I remember this being on t.v and I was only 6 at the time (1974) - could never find the ( cogs and popcorn t.v program ) Over the moon thumbs up 7 Nov 2020 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The reason for the flush going off when the chain is released is because the bell then pushes the water up a standpipe. That causes a vacuum inside the bell. This vacuum causes the cistern or tank to drain.
The 'extra lyricist' make-up for any flaws in the extra lyrics. I've always like when the 'in private life' is added a little late and very hurriedly after the clownish KoKo includes 'clowns' in the list….
Thomas, I was in these programmes back in the day and I have been trying to show my grown up children, do you have any more clips of these programmes I have spoken to David Warwick we are still in touch but I would really love to see these again if you can help. My name is Caroline Hayward, and I'm on Facebook in bristol UK.
Basic Maths is the second incarnation of the cult series Leapfrog. Fred and Mary go to the beach in the last episode of the summer term. In Leapfrog, Sylvester McCoy did the fingers. He also did things with logs and tiles.
