But, I noticed a brass bushings laying under where I was working, the diameter of the hole in the bushing is the size of the bolts. I don't have a clue where it fell out from. Hello everyone. Can someone please help? I have a 2016 GS350 F-sport. I installed everything correctly but I cannot get the remote start to work. Called company and they’re saying I have to remove oem remote start. I seen in video it is also a F-sport. Am I missing something? I get through the whole process but does not remote start. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Once you use the auto start from outside, will you be able to just hop in the car and drive off as usual without pressing the start button? Or would the car cut off after opening the driver's door to where you need to start by pressing the start button? I have a 2017 ES 350.

@1bosstv
@1bosstv Год назад
@@davesgarage3227 I live in Atlanta GA. This auto start kit is good, but if it cuts off and you have to manually start it anyway before driving, that defeats the purpose of the auto start.

@@1bosstv We use the remote start feature mostly in the winter months to warm up the car/defrost the windshield. The shut off feature doesn't bother us as we view that as a safety feature so nobody drives off with our car. Having to restart the car is a simple push on the button.

@@davesgarage3227 Gotta love Toyota security features! I actually learned something from you with this kit and it's still nice to be able to auto start with the Lexus remote you already have. We get some cold weather in Atlanta during winter time, but not cold like places in the Midwest.

Is low clutch fluid level an indicator of a worn out clutch?
@davesgarage3227
@davesgarage3227 Год назад
I don't think so. I'd check for a leak in the system. The good news is that the entire hydrualic system is external of the transmission, so you should be able to easily spot a leak. Here are some worn out clutch symptoms: Difficulty shifting gear. Squeaking or grumbling noise when the clutch pedal is pressed. Spongy, sticking, vibrating or loose clutch pedal when pressed. Ability to rev the engine, but poor acceleration. Slipping' clutch, causing a momentary loss of acceleration

So the factory remote start option on my car was already installed from the factory, but it requires a pay subscription to work. The aftermarket solutions bypass the subscription to turn the option on.

For anyone with a GS350- I just finished install. Tips- remove radio plastic trim panel just by opening glovebox, and popping it out. That will have push to start panel pop out a little bit from the dash. This allows the lower dash panel to be removed, as it sort of hooks into this first piece you need to take out. Once you’ve removed the 3 screws from steering wheel, and 3 screws from dash footwell area, everything should drop down. Be sure to disconnect trunk release button and heated steering wheel button to allow lower dash to drop. As far as the instructions when it comes to the GS, and this video, it differs. The actual 7 pin connector is behind the parking brake buttons by your right knee. It is black. The white T harness similarly goes into the ECU area, but you need to disconnect the right middle and right top plug, and then daisy chain the middle segment into the MPC adapter. I let my Mpc module sit in the left side of the car, behind the change holder slot. I wish I had these tips when I did mine! There was a helpful amazon review to help guide me a bit too. I’ll try to post that as well. Overall product works great, but the instructions were not specific enough to the GS. This video will help you get an idea of what you’re getting into though.

1st off thanks for this info!!! It was super helpful. I do have a question in regards to the safety switch. Did u hook that up? I installed the kit and programmed successfully but it will only power on the vehicle(won’t start). Tech support is closed today but it was the perfect day to install for me. I have 2016 gs350. Just wondering if that override switch could have something to do with it. Im guessing it would be wired to red connector that plugs to evo module once programmed.
