Nissan 350z rear spring removal, Hotchkis lowering springs installation 

Yes. The springs ride great and they don't slam the car so I'm not worried about scrapping no matter how fast I go! Is the sway bar kit clearance in store or online?

@@davesgarage3227 I got the last one at TireRack. Hotchkis TVS Stage 1 kit for $418.37 shipped in January (The sway bar kit alone at TireRack was $399 at that time, so I got free lowering springs and about $30 cash back). It was a one off they must have found in their warehouse. Since then I now have the TEIN's, the KYB strut and shock mounts, the KYB front bellows (I will have to cut the bump stop almost all the way off just to keep them on the shaft), some MOOG endlinks front and rear, SPC camber bolts x 4 (which I bought since a lot of the suspension bolts on his car are messed up), and a new control arm (the spring bucket, since the other side had the camber bolt rust welded inside it and when the alignment shop broke it they fixed it with a new arm and bolt). My son loves his 2005 350Z touring. I have more plans for it. Thanks for posting your channel. I liked your video, but now I am subscribing.

Just to add I have been worried about the Hotchkis springs since they aren't really mentioned in the 350Z circles (I have experiences with Hotchkis on many other cars though). They are indeed a bit heavy and the spring rates seem on the lower side of things at 340/330, but they are linear so it all may work out. They are just by appearance very nice

So I don't have the Z anymore, but I have the springs on my G35. I run 40 series tires on 19 inch wheels, 9.5 in the front and 11's in the rear. I haven't tracked the car, but I feel very confident when running the on/off ramps and around turns. When I was looking for springs, I only wanted a moderate drop and it was between Hotchkis or the Eibach Proline. At that time, Hotchkis was moving their HQ and had a deal so I purchased them. The cars rides great. It doesn't bounce all over the place and like I mentioned earlier, i can drive fast without bottoming out. Those sway bars are on my list. My next mod are the Brembo brakes from an 04 G35 parts car that I recently purchased. I also picked up the Motordyne Shockwave cat back and Z1 test pipes. Hopefully soon, these parts will be on my coupe.
