Great explanation. Weirdly, it seems you have to send the shortcut to the desktop and go from there. I was unable to add the shortcut from the original folder and this video helped me!
Has anybody had the DISM command fail to locate source files? From what I can see, it should be using windows update by default. I tried running "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\Windows\WinSxS /LimitAccess" and same thing. Also, running "wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey" does not return a product key, just blank space where one should be. This is despite the activation troubleshooter saying it found a key, upgrade to windows 10 home to use it. After doing that, it reboots, still not activated. All of this started after using chkdsk /r to troubleshoot something unrelated, so maybe my install of windows is just borked 😮💨
Wow! McAfee is a little rat! I sometimes want to turn my antivirus off when appropriate because I'm actually smart and know what programs I use and how they actually work but guess what? You CAN'T do that with McAfee, you're forced to look at the subscription page and have to go through uninstallation. It's not even just hiding premium features, you're straight up not allowed to turn it off nor access what it deletes or anything! I have no doubt McAfee wants to hold anyone's computer hostage.

Maybe you have something for the updates, they are a big problem because I can't stop them, or choice what I need and they take all my disk space and my pc is only for microsoft. So, I use update blocker but I need some of them ... any idea????
