I just spent far too long trying to figure out what the BF stood for in your Taco, then realized. I probably don't want to know. :) It's possible but there are a number of policies that you need to get around that would raise security flags with users and sites. I'll look more closely at that though

Average Joe here. Why do we need different solutions while ad blockers already block YT ads? In order to avoid adblockers? What am i missing here?

@@drexciyan74 You don't really, unless it breaks your usability. Personally, I don't like ad blockers for a number of reasons and do not use them. This tweak is actually using an ads free service that RU-vid provides to all users and offers you a quick choice to toggle how you want to watch the video. This choice gives you better functionality to what they offer as well as the ability to support the creator.

@@majorgeeks ​I regret to say, but yeah. I shortened it because reasons. A long time ago when I was a kid, my dad gave me the idea for the name on xbox and I was stuck with it. That was back during the Microsoft points days. He laughed at me when I irreversibly hit confirm on the name. Now I choose to be stuck with it because it's funny. Rats, didn't think about security policies. I'm inexperienced on that regard. I'm for sure going to keep posted if you make any adjustments in the future! Good luck!

Brave it should work, Firefox is not a Chrome browser so it will not work.

@@muzikgod Firefox has an Adblock for RU-vid extension, and possibly some others-- I use Adblock and it works a champ.

@@majorgeeks Major Tom! Thanks for your reply. I would like to ask you why you have moral issues with ad blockers because i am genuinely curious and its never actually occurred to me before. Not looking to argue - just wondering. Thanks again sir!

@@TheEschwank02 Ads "pay the bills" as some RU-vidrs I watch have said. It is revenue for the creator and most of the time, they use that revenue to put back into the channel. It's not much tho, that is why a lot of creators use Patreon, sell merchandise, or have other means for people to donate to the channel.

​@@TheEschwank02 Well, given that I make my living creating web content in exchange for ad revenue --- I think we can start there. :) BUT, let me summarize... Ad blockers hurt content creators who rely on ads to keep their sites running. I know of tons of talented smaller sites and freeware developers that had to close because so much of their venue was stolen. Large sites absorb the hit or resort to paywalls, but small sites can't. This has limited the variety of online free content and led to more aggressive ads. The fact that ad blockers then charge you for the opportunity to steal someone else's income stream is, for me, morally questionable. Plus, some ad blockers collect your data, so you're swapping one privacy issue for another, all while using content without supporting those who create it. PS Major Tom was David Bowie, I'm Jim. :)
